Chapter 32 – The glass dome and its illusions
In his mind, he had a myriad of doubts about whether he could carry out the duties and mandates like his brave and loving father? This happened when he accidentally listened to his father's conversation while praying. He heard that there would be someone who would change the dimensions of space and time. Even now, he has not found out who he was referring to, whether it also impacts endangering the people of Rhodes or not.
Meanwhile, his responsibility as the only successor who is led to talk to the gods is he who is from the Noah family, where the primary goal of their family is to have the courage to decide related to humanity that can threaten them.
A considerable burden must be accepted and carried out on his shoulders. He feels doubtful about his current abilities. Wrestling in the battle to protect people during yesterday's attack, where his primary duty was to save lives; however, he couldn't even block a monster from entering the Mana barrier, resulting in someone's life being killed just like that.
Meanwhile, Darren is just an illegitimate child and always making trouble has excellent service in stopping the attacks of dragons and monsters that even Mana Controllers find it difficult to stop him.
"I'm sorry, dad," Jase said, ashamed, looking down.
"It's okay, my son, you've done it right," Saintess said as she hugged his child.
"You'd better stay by his side if you still have distrust." He said again and let go of Jase's arms to cheer him on.
He tried to accept it with a smile after hearing his father's wise decision and left the Saintess, who was still standing there.
He went to see Darren again. Jase didn't find him in his seat when he had passed the partition. He only saw an empty cup and plate there.
Quickly the young man searched for him all over the place, from every nook and cranny of his house. There was not a single figure he was looking for, hoping he would not carelessly enter his home or suddenly be at the altar praying.
After making sure he wasn't in the house, he went out into the wide grass a few times when he heard rushing wind and looked for the sound source. Strolling around the search area, walking through the forest bushes, he found Darren practicing there.
Standing in a wide field accompanied by a breeze, a large magic circle was rotating slowly in the opposite direction from a considerable distance from where he was standing.
A dark blue magic circle faced in front of Darren as if to challenge him to a match. He stood straight, picked up a green leaf that flew in the wind, and caught it. The leaf instantly turned into an arrow that had its Mana flow.
The target object used was a leaf that flew between him, and the circle split into two parts.
Jase subconsciously hid behind a tree silently and saw what he was doing. Then, Darren prepared to fire his target, took aim at a leaf blown by the wind, and fired an arrow from the bow. The leaves were neatly cut and burned.
The arrow that shot forward entered the magic circle and shot in the opposite direction. Dareen was already preparing to catch the arrow again with just one hand with great ease.
Jase was amazed by what he had just seen. He realized it took a lot of manas power just to cast a Mana weapon, unlike when pouring Mana into a pre-formed object.
The objects used only need a little power to strengthen them. However, weapons only used as a means of delivery are usually weak.
Darren repeatedly did this, and Jase was strangely reluctant to approach him, even watching it. Feeling enough with this training, Darren ended his activities then the weapon in his hand disappeared.
The magic circle was still spinning. Darren approached and put one of his hands to release electricity to absorb the rotating object. Although it felt a little hot and made his hands redden, he didn't affect it.
After absorbing all the magic circles, Darren brushed aside the hair that blocked his eyes.
Jase, who saw the sight, was taken aback, and a red blush appeared on his cheeks.
His gaze hadn't left her since earlier. Even until Darren was standing before him didn't make Jase realize it immediately.
"Hey..." came a voice. Darren swung his palm in front of Jase.
He was spontaneously surprised and quickly turned his gaze in another direction.
"Are you sick?" he said worriedly.
Jase covered his mouth with the back of his hand and shifted his answer, "No." indifferently.
"How? Have you met your father?" asked again, curious.
"Yeah... you can use it," he answered in such a small voice that she couldn't hear him.
"What?" Darren asked, bringing his face closer.
It made Jase feel awkward, and he finally shouted, "Yeah, you can use it," he shouted.
"Thank goodness," Darren replied, pulling his head back cheerfully.
"But I'll accompany you while you're there," Jase objected.
"With the pleasure, of course," he answered.
Seeing Darren's response, who didn't mind that he should accompany him, he thought the boy might have other intentions.
'Maybe he just came to read a book in the library.'
'But I'd better be on guard with other important documents.'
"So when are you going to take me there?" Darren asked curiously.
"Now, it doesn't matter to me," he answered with emotion.
He left, leaving the man behind. Darren immediately followed him through the forest to go deeper, a more dense place that made anyone a little confused when entering.
From afar, there was a towering glass dome. He didn't remember a building there when he walked with the bandits. Through the tall undergrowth, Darren saw a clearing and an igloo-shaped building with skeletal walls made of gleaming silver.
It looks like Duchess Margaretha's greenhouse, filled with lush vegetation and trees from the outside. They walk towards the entrance, accompanied by butterflies flying around them.
Jase walked forward to open a large gate containing a key with five finger knuckles functioning as a Mana key, unlike the Moore family.
Mana flow shone on Jase's every finger, and the gems displayed there shone brightly.
"Give me some of your Mana and place it over my hands," he ordered, taking her hand.
Permission to enter using the property of each family when they want to join the room. This also applies to some others. Other than the registered Mana will be considered an intruder.
Entering into an illusion to suppress their souls and emotions ends with Suicide in less than 5 minutes—Noah's family trap.
