Chapter 34 – For the first time out of the house.
"How did I get here?" Jase asked, fixing his sitting position. The sun was rather hot in the room.
Jase looked at the table, Darren wasn't there, and all his books were neat. Jase jumped out of bed, rushing downstairs. Not finding the figure he was looking for, he hurriedly ran down the stairs looking for him in between and around the room until he came out of the library.
Darren heard the door opening, and he finally came out carrying a tray filled with food.
"You want to come back now?" Dareen asked. He had just emerged from another room.
Jase looked back in the library to see he was still standing inside, holding his toast and warm milk, running toward Darren.
"What are you doing?" Jase asked nervously.
"I was hungry, so I made some food for breakfast," he answered as he thrust the tray in his hand.
