Chapter 42 - CHAPTER 42

I don't know how many hours it has been. I don't wear watches, and my phone was deposited at the front desk. I think it's already past midnight but we're still in the bar for macho dancers.

The effects of the alcohol have already worn off in me, so I guess it's a couple of hours wasted in this place already. But the club is still busy. If anything, it became a little bit more populated by women. I'm still the lone guy here.

"Uhu! Uhu! Uhu!"

I heard somebody weeping near me. When I looked to my left, I saw the drunk not-so-divine priestess. Her mouth is covered with cheese that I could mistake for her beard. There's also some cheese sauce on her clothes.

"Odette? What's wrong?" I worriedly asked.

"Nothing. I just love nacho and cheese so much!" Odette cried.

I can't believe I got worried over nachos. I saw three empty bottles of apple-flavored beer on her side of the table. She's not so resistant to alcohol since she's just a teenage girl after all.

"Ah! So hot!" Marina exclaimed which grabbed my attention.

Slowly, Marina unzipped her dress below her belly button, which made her body exposed. I can see her sweaty cleavage and moist midriff which made me immediately blush.

"M-Marina! What are you doing!?" I cried.

"I think I drank too much. I'm dizzy and my body feels so hot." Marina pressed her face forward and looked me in the eyes. I felt her heavy breath on my cheeks. "Would you please strip me out of this punishing dress?"

"I can't!" I cried as I grabbed her shoulders and gently pushed her away. I know that she's too drunk as well to think rationally. Stripping away the dress of the wife of my deceased friend feels like I'm doing some crime.

"Cheapskate!" Marina pouted with reddish cheeks.

"You shouldn't strip in public, Marina!" I cried. "It's not about me being a chicken, it's about you abandoning your decency! Please zip up your dress, you're too revealing!"

"I'm not revealing!" Marina cried like a kid. "The one revealing is Yehanna over there!"

The drunk mafia lord pointed at the bar counter where girls sit and line up for drinks. It's a few meters away from here, so I can already see Yehanna partying up with some tipsy girls while holding a bottle of beer.

"I am Deva!" Yehanna roared, and the other girls cheered. Looks like she's the star of the night.

"What the hell!" I muttered. I cleared my pants from some nacho crumbs and then stood up. I paved my way until I reach the counter and tapped Yehanna's shoulder. "Hanna!"

"Oh! It's my fake fiancé! Look at that!" Yehanna cried. Her cheeks are all red, and her movements are sluggish. She wrapped her arm around me and introduced me to her acquaintances. "Look girls, this is my live-in partner! He may not look like the part, but he's a great Dragon Sage!"

"Woohoo!" the girls cried.

"Hanna, let's go!" I whispered to the drunk villainess. I grabbed her shoulder and exerted some force to pull her away from the counter, but she slapped my hand.

"How dare you talk to Deva!" Yehanna roared again. Her breath reeks of alcohol. I think she drank most beer than the other two who are left on the table.

I made a deep sigh. I know she'll just explode if I scolded her. The right way to speak with a drunk person is to go with the flow.

"I'm sorry, my villainess. But Deva needs to go back to her throne now." I bowed.

"Okay~" Yehanna shifted with a smile. Her mood changes like oil prices.

I turned around and I was about to lead the way but then Yehanna jumped on my back and anchored her arms on my neck! She's forcing me to piggyback her!

"What the heck!" I cried.

"Don't complain! You've ridden on me several times already! It's my time to ride on you!" Yehanna cried.

"I'm not complaining! Just don't do it all of a sudden!" I answered aggressively. "My back can't take it if you jump like that!"

"Okay, I'm sorry, Uly." Yehanna frowned. "Just don't be angry at me."

I didn't reply. I just focused on making it back on our table.

I just hope that those girls who heard her proclaim that she's Deva will not take her seriously. I mean, nobody would believe a drunk woman, and I think every girl at the counter is drunk too. And Deva was already reported dead as we made it appear that she self-destructed. The chances of her being discovered are close to zero.

I laid the villainess on the couch near Odette who's still bathing with nacho and cheese. Then I talked to Yehanna like a true parent.

"Stay here. I'll call Sebastian so that he could fetch us. Wait here, okay?"

"Okay~" Yehanna smiled like a kid. Then she fell on the soft couch and immediately slept.

I went back to the front desk to recover my phone. I called Sebastian and said that he should commute to this place and drive the car Yehanna left in the parking lot. After that, I went back to watch over the drunk girls. Odette is sleeping on her nacho cheese plate, Marina is resting half-naked, and Yehanna is peacefully asleep on the couch. They're all wasted.

Twenty minutes later, Sebastian finally came. Sebastian carried Yehanna and Odette like a pair of helpless kittens, while I carried Marina gently. I chose to carry Marina because half of her body is exposed, and I don't feel like an old man like Sebastian should be carrying her. I also zipped back her dress so that there will be no more accidental wardrobe malfunction.

Sebastian drove the car while I'm in the shotgun seat. The three girls are sleeping peacefully in the backseat.

We decided to let Marina and Odette rest in the Lancelot Manor for the night. Marina and Odette gave their (drunken) consent anyway, and there are a lot of guest rooms in Yehanna's house. That place is perfect after a good long party night.

It was almost two in the morning when we reached the manor. Sebastian led the two guests to their respective rooms, while Yehanna stayed piggybacking on me.

I carried my fake fiancé to the second floor where the master's bedroom is located. I laid her on the queen-sized bed. I was about to cover her with blankets when she pinched my sleeve.

"Uly, can you undress me?"

"What!?" I shrieked.

"I'm not comfortable sleeping in these clothes. Change me to my pajamas. Pretty please~" Yehanna begged.

I sighed. "Fine."

I pulled out her shirt, then her skirt and leggings. Then I chose a random sleeping gown from her wardrobe and dressed her up.

"There, all done my evil princess," I said.

Yehanna made a smug face. "That was fast! Did you even have enough time to sneak a peek at my merchandise?"

"W-What? N-No! I mean, yeah, a little." I scratched my head while maintaining a strawberry-colored face. "I can't undress and dress you without looking, you know!"

"That's okay~" Yehanna surrendered to the softness of her royal bed and buried herself in the blankets, leaving her eyes staring at me. "For all those things you've helped me with, I think you deserved a little peek."

I just laughed. I know she's still drunk, but I would peek a lot if she wasn't in this state.

I was about to leave her but then Yehanna held my hand.

"Will you keep holding my hand until I fell asleep?" She asked.

"What a needy villainess you are." I scoffed as I sat on her bed and stroked her silky-smooth hair.

"I'm not needy!" Yehanna puffed her red cheeks. "I only needed one thing in my life, and that's you."
