"I never knew that you transferred to the Lancelot Manor. I even visited your old residence."
The 12-star Dragon Sage Rex Nullius' voice is as deep as the abyss. It makes me tremble with each syllable he spoke. His crimson eyes are already judging my soul.
"Old residence? You came to my family?" I gritted.
"Yes. Though I briefly left when I learned that you are already living with your fiancé." Rex Nullius smiled. "If I'm not mistaken, your future wife is the CEO of the Apsara Industries: Second Lieutenant Yehanna Lancelot."
"You're right, Rex Nullius." A feminine voice said.
Stepping away from the room where she's supposed to be hidden, the well-endowed woman with long dark-blue hair made her appearance. Her crimson eyes glared at the highest-ranked Dragon Sage without any hint of cowardice.
However, Rex Nullius was not intimidated, not even a little bit. He gave a friendly smile like a welcomed guest.
"Oh my, you have grown into a beautiful woman, Miss Lancelot. You graduated magna cum laude in the Dragonoid Military Academy, and you're an A-tier Dragonoid."
"Spare me with your praises, Null!" Yehanna smiled sinisterly as she crossed her arms below her bosoms. "It does not matter why you came here or what you wanted with my fiancé. You have something you stole from us, and I want it back."
All of a sudden, Rex Nullius' chest broke open! A fist powered with tremendous mana was the cause, and the 12-star Dragon Sage's heart and lungs were destroyed in an instant!
It was Sebastian who gave the first and final blow. His powerful punch imbued with wind magic made it possible to open up the poorly masked sage from his back. This technique is the same assassination attack Yehanna usually uses, but he used his bare fist for Sebastian.
"My apologies, Milord. This is for the young master." Sebastian said.
Rex Nullius coughed blood two times. Dark red liquid silently flowed from his lips.
The moment the badass butler removed his fist from the enemy's ripped chest, Rex Nullius fell to the ground, devoid of life. His body is just like a collapsed ragdoll. His lifeless crimson eyes with black sclera just stared at Yehanna.
"Is it… over?" I muttered to myself, still not believing that the fight has already won.
"It's over, Rex Nullius," Yehanna said as she walked towards the enemy's corpse. "I shall take my brother's eyes back."

All of a sudden, my vision went static. I felt a sharp but short pain in my head. And then it was gone.
When our eyesight went back to normal, we were surprised that Rex Nullius' body was no longer there!
"W-What?" I shrieked.
"W-Where is he!?" Yehanna looked around. But there's no sign of the cadaver of the Dragon Sage.
Even Sebastian is clueless. He also noticed that the blood on his fist that was used to blast the enemy's chest open was gone. There's not even a stain of blood on the butler. It's like the assassination attack didn't happen in the first place.
All of a sudden, the antique wooden door opened, revealing a perfectly alive and healthy Rex Nullius. His cape flapped due to the wind outside. With a smile, the revived enemy Dragon Sage covered one of his crimson eyes.
"I do remember my debt to the House Lancelot." Rex Nullius said. "It is because of young Yifus that I unlocked the Eye of Deus after all. I will never forget."
"What happened?" I asked out loud. But nobody answered me.
Yehanna and Sebastian just focused their sights on Rex Nullius. We three are all sure that Rex Nullius dropped dead a few seconds ago. But he's fully alive. Was it an illusion?
"With the power of light, release us from our dreams." I chanted the basic illusion dispel that I know, and a light sonar pulsed around the house. I didn't feel any disturbance in anyone's senses, including mine, so I was sure it was not an illusion.
There is something else in that man.
"Sebastian!" Yehanna cried.
"Right away, my lady!" Sebastian blasted forward, with two of his fists imbued with wind magic.
With lightning speed, the old butler unleashed two, four, eight, sixteen deadly punches! However, his knuckles did not reach Rex Nullius. It's like there is an invisible force preventing the old butler from touching the 12-star Dragon Sage.
"Huh?" Sebastian grunted in confusion.
"Stupid old man." Rex Nullius caught Sebastian's seventeenth punch with his bare hand, and he didn't even get hurt or flinch.
Suddenly, a magical circle appeared on Sebastian's forehead. The magical circle formula is the very same spell we Dragon Sages use to call out our Dragonoid Contractors.
"Ah! Aaaah!" Sebastian made three steps backward while holding his aching bald head. It's like he's enduring a tremendous pain inside his brain.
And then…
Tentacles sprouted from Sebastian's mouth. The black tendrils are so humongous that they ripped the old butler's cheeks. Forget his face, his whole head spread out to pieces like a blooming flower!
"Aaaaaaah!"
There was an explosion of blood and guts. It all happened so fast.
What now stands in Sebastian's minced remains is a petite girl with a snow-white complexion, crimson eyes, and long black hair tied in twin tails. She's wearing a short gown that reveals her inhumanely pale white legs and cleavage. She is drenched with the old butler's blood, and she seemed to enjoy bathing in it.
Seeing a witch-like entity bathing in blood, with a sadistic smile, and dark tentacles on her back, makes it look like a scene from a horror movie. I'm about to piss my pants due to fear.
"S-Sebastian!" Yehanna cried as she drew out her katana and glared at the tentacle witch. "How dare you!"
Yehanna did not wait for any answer as she immediately rushed towards the girl with tendrils. She made a swift sword slash as soon as she gets in range, but the katana was deflected by one of the tentacles. Enraged, Yehanna unleashed a more swift slicing attack, but it was then again deflected by another tentacle!
"You deal with the Lancelot girl, Rafaelsa." Rex Nullius said to his Dragonoid Contractor.
"Okay, master!" the tentacle witch cheerfully said.
Rex Nullius nodded to his partner named Rafaelsa. Then he started to walk forward, in my direction.
"Where do you think you're going!?" Yehanna cried as she made a U-turn and charged toward Rex Nullius with her extremely dashing speed. However, she was intercepted by a large black tentacle.
"I'm your enemy, girl! Let's have our masters talk to each other!" Rafaelsa replied while slamming her tentacles all over the place.
Yehanna can't do anything but parry, block, and evade the giant tendrils. From the look of things, they are evenly matched.
"Leave Rex Nullius to us, Hanna!" I shouted out loud. I didn't have any way to know if she heard me or not, but I'll do my best to face the ultimate enemy we have ever faced.
I looked down the stairs, and Rex Nullius is already on his third step. He's slowly approaching me. Seven meters. Five meters. Two meters.
Rex Nullius reached out his hand to me, but then.
"With the power of light, Holy Shield!" Odette made it in time to cover me inside a bubble of light. Rex Nullius has been pushed away due to the magic!
And then, Marina appeared from the enemy's back. She spread out her hand and chanted.
"Oh abyssal flame, create a fire that will burn my enemy!"
The 12-star Dragon Sage was engulfed by the black flame wall behind him. His body turned to crisps and ashes in an instant.
