Rein walked out of the café door as he finished his shift, he starts making his way back to the school dorms.
"It's been a month since that whole incident, it's gone take a while for the town to rebuild luckily lost of life was minimum thanks to Sir Hadley Bond but still..." Rein ponders.
{Yearls Academy of Magic and Swords- Yearl Empire}
"Hey Rein the headmaster said he wanted to speak to you about something." Lot informed Rein as he enters the dorm.
"Did he tell you what it was about?" Rein asked.
"No but the headmaster doesn't usually call out students, so it must be important."
Rein entered the staff building, which was usually filled with teachers or some students, but it was unusually empty.
Rein walked up the stairs to the headmaster's office on the 3rd floor.
"I wonder what the headmaster wants." Rein says as he knocks on the wooden door.
"You may enter!!" a voice answered from the other side of the door.
The headmaster was seated behind his desk, he severed in the military as an officer specializing in mage and physical combat which you could tell from his still fit build, with short black hair and scar on his left eye giving a certain level of toughness too him, while his right eye was black and still working.
"I am glad you are here Rein this is the first time we are meeting face to face right." He said in friendly tone odd of a man with his stature.
"Yes headmaster." Rein replied stiffly.
"No need to be so formal Rein you can call me Mr. Han."
"The reason I called you here was because of the Royal Knight commanders Sir Hadley who wanted to hear what happened when the Queen was attacked."
"Yes, I would like to hear about what you did during the incident, since the her majesty the Queen spoke so highly of a boy with shot curly brown hair who could cast spells with blue flames." The man who stood unnoticed by Rein looking out the window said as he slowly turned around.
Sir Hadley is one of five top Royal Knight commanders who only takes orders from the Royal family, he has shoulder length blond hair and round green eyes, he was of a tall stature with a fit build.
"I will gladly tell you what happened Sir Hadley." Rein says as he recalls the events in the open hall.
"So that is what happened. Thank you, young Rein, this will be helpful in our investigation into the Order of Cipher, there is something else I would like to ask you to do for me...." Sir Hadley voiced.
[What could a royal knight want me to do for him, unless it is something that requires something I have?]
"I want you to explore the Kings labyrinth, for me, usually that would be a job for trained mage knight's but we can't spear any with the kingdom on high alert of that mischievous group. "
"Why me, aren't there more talented and experienced people who are not mage knight's that can do that job." Rein asked in an interrogative tone.
"If you want a reason lets just say I am curious about you and your magic plus there is someone else who will be going with you who I want you to meet." Sir Hadley Responded.
"I understand, it would be an Honor."
"Okay then, I will leave the details with the headmaster and he will inform you when everything is in place, I must take me leave now."
Silence enveloped the room as Mr. Han and Rein kept quiet in each other's presence.
"You, know Rein I feel bad I couldn't do anything when that evil group attacked the stadium, I should have been the one protecting you students, yet I wasn't able too." The headmaster agonized with a sorry expression.
"No ,I don't think you should apologize sir, no one had any idea that was going to happen, plus that experience has driven me the resolve to grow stronger to protect the people I now call friends and to surpass the one before me." Rein states with a strong conviction as Norton's name flashes in his mind.
"I am glad to hear that." the headmaster says with a smile on his face.
"If that is all sir I will take me leave." Rein says as he exited the headmaster's office.
A calm breeze blew through the spring trees as Rein walked through the campus pondering about the discussion with Sir Hadley.
[I wonder who this person is he wants me to meet is and what does he want me to do in the King's labyrinth.]
"Hey Rein." Claire says waving at Rein to get his attention.
Rein just kept on walking, not noticing Claire.
Claire annoyed tried to punch Rein across the back of his head just then Rein instinctively grabbed her fist.
"Ohh!! Claire I didn't notice you." Rein replies in a surprised tone.
"Yes, you clearly didn't, what has you so distracted."
"It's just..."
[Should I really tell someone about the discussion between me and a high-ranking Royal Knight, especially since I don't have the full details.]
"I was thinking of ways to improve the spells I know and maybe discover some new ones." Rein replied.
"That is a coincidence I was hoping we could do some training together, since Lot is nowhere to be found." Claire beamed.
"I don't mind that, and I know the best place where we could do some training."
{Deep in the Warebo Forest of the Yearl Empire}
"Welcome to my secret training spot by this huge stone with these mysterious hieroglyphics on it, this spot always calms and revitalizes me." Rein Grinned.
"I can see why this area's scenery is so beautiful with gentle winds blowing through, its like a picture out of a fairy tale." Claire add.
As Claire stood looking around her area with a smile on her, the memory of a browned hair man warmly embracing a black haired woman flashed in Rein's mind.
"Why are you crying." Claire asked.
"I just felt a connect...., never mind let us get down to why we came here." Rein smiled.
