They both stood in silence as sweat dripped from their exhausted body.
"Even though this is training you're not holding back." Rein said as he sat on the lush green grass.
"I can't afford to fall behind You and Lot, the selection tournament showed me how strong you both are." Claire shared candidly with Rein.
Rein reflects on his first encounter with Claire.
"I feel no I know you can get even stronger than me or Lot, you have the talent and mana to do so but you've also become a more what do I say, ummm!! trusting and kind person in such a short time span." Rein smartly complimented Claire.
"Do you really think so." Claire blushingly says as the lights of the fireflies illuminate the night around them.
"Yup, now let's get make to the dorms I am starving from all the mana I lost."
"Mana lost doesn't make you hungry Rein." Claire said as they both laughed.
{Somewhere in the mountains of the- Yearl Kingdom}
"Master Zephyr a report has come in from Lynx and his team about the location of the first Origin Orb." Valaine reports as she knelt one knee to Zephyr who stood in a dimly lit room.
"That is excellent where did he say it was."
"It's in the King's labyrinth near Yearl's magic academy Master."
"Then I would like you to retrieve it for me."
"Sorry to intrude Sir but I would like to take the task to retrieve the Orb." soft and could voice Response behind Valaine.
"Phantom when did you get there?" Valaine asked surprised with her eyes opening widely.
"No need to worry about that Valaine." He says in a mischievous tone.
"Then if you wish to do so, go ahead Phantom, as long as we get the Orb I have no problem, Valaine I will give you another mission." Zephyr ordered
{Yearls Academy of Magic and Swords- Yearl Empire}
"How was your training session with Claire." Lot asked Rein as they both sat in the dinner hall alone.
"Not bad she really pushed me, but you know she was looking for you so all three of us could do some training together." Rein replies.
"Two days ago, when you were at work, she asked me to train, I wanted to decline but I couldn't say no, and she really pushed me which was so tiring and annoying so I decided I will take a rest from her training for a while." Lot recalls as he yawns.
Reins points to an angry Claire behind Lot.
"She is behind me isn't she." Lot said calmly.
" My training is annoying huh, I am going to turn you into a popsicle!!" She shouted.
Claire chased Lot out of the dining hall as she tried to freeze him.
{10 Days later}
[Campus is back to normal and lively as ever everyone has returned from the 1-month break]
"My first class is Mr. Riggs Kingdom history class; I don't feel like listening to his boring lectures." Dray says as he approaches Rein.
"I though you were the kind, who would enjoy listening to Mr. Riggs go on and on about history." Rein commented.
"Nah I prefer practical magic class, not that I will be participating for a while." Dray answers
"I guess I can see that, how are your injuries you look pretty bandaged up."
Dray looked at the bandages on his hands.
"There not that bad but Myra and Rio insisted I be on the safe side and bandage up this much, how have you been?"
"Unlike you I only had minor injuries and only struggle with magi Fatigue for a few weeks."
"That is good to hear because I am still itching for a battle against you."
"Same with me you just have to tell me when your ready."
They both continued to leisurely talk as they made their way to class.
"So this is Yearls Magic academy it seems very big, I wonder if the food here is good, no I have to focus I am not hear to tryout new dishes. "
A girl with black hair with pink accent stripe and eyes the color of a pink rose quartz. With a straight and narrow point rapier at the hip of the short brown pants she wore.
Rein laid on the lush green grass as the gentle wind blew across his body as he closed his eyes to rest.
[It's such a nice day we haven't had a rainy day for a while.]
"Who is that?" Rein asked with eyes close.
"Oh, you sensed me; I didn't want to interrupt you since you looked so relaxed."
"You have my attention now, what do you want." Rein answered in a relaxed tone.
"Where can I find the, Gurrr!!"
Rein opened his eyes to the sound of the girl's stomach growl.
"Sorry, that was embarrassing hee." The girl laughed embarrassedly.
"No need to apologize, If you're asking where the dining hall is I can show you." Rein said with a slight grin.
"No I wanted to know where the headmaster's office is."
"Are you sure?" Rein teased.
"Look wise guy is that how you treat a stranger asking for directions." The girl said a tad annoyed.
"Alright I can show you to the headmaster's office and the dining hall if needed."
"Thanks my name is Rose." Rose shared.
"My name is Rein, nice to meet you Rose that's a nice blade you have there."
"Thanks it's very special to me and I think I will call you wise guy."
"Really!!"
