They left feeling rather frustrated. There had to be something they could do to keep the ball rolling on this investigation! But what? Neither of them had experience working with witnesses quite like this.
Hysterics from shock were different than whatever they had witnessed earlier because people usually calmed down eventually. They were going to need a forensic psychologist to get anywhere with him, weren't they? The department did have one they regularly worked with who had a private practice.
Andrew went to talk to her while Josh dealt with some paperwork regarding another case. She was a prim woman in her late forties or early fifties who did excellent work.
"Hey, Dr. Sheridan."
"Detective Church! It's been a while. How are you?" she asked kindly.
Andrew let out a heavy sigh. "Not the greatest. I need your help with a potential witness/suspect."
"…the person you want me to talk to is both a witness and a suspect?"
