RHEIN'S POINT OF VIEW
"Do you remember what we said last Friday? Xyrille and I were going to my auntie's house tomorrow after that day?"
I nodded. "Yeah, you invited me but I refused because Sister Rona and I had a date."
"So, here it is. Since the bus stop is still a bit far from Auntie's house, we had to walk. On our way, we saw a huge old house. It looked so mysterious and at the same time, so enchanting. I dragged Xyrille over there to look inside. We thought no one lived there so we went in. The house was very clean. It was empty until we found ourselves in a room, which was the only one place with things. It was weird because the bed, chair, cabinet, table, all the things were pure black." Jean took a deep breath before continuing. "But we were not able to tour further in that room because we saw someone. He was wearing a black cloak. We could not see what he looked like because he was turning his back on us. There were black flames, it seemed to be floating around him so we ran out. Oh, Rhein, if you were there, I am sure your hair would stand up too. It was a good thing we escaped without him noticing us. We are not sure if he is he or she though."
Xyrille coughed so my sight shifted to her. "Believe it or not, we saw a witch."
Witch - as soon as I heard that word, I felt a mixture of fear and nervousness. Maybe, because what they said was true but I was also not sure if it was. They might be pranking me—but I did not think so. Those two could not give me such joke.
"Aaaaaaaaaaahh!" I held my head when it suddenly hurt. It felt like it was breaking into pieces so I sat on the floor. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaahh!" I just kept screaming. I knew almost all the people inside the cafeteria were already watching me but I could do nothing there. As time went on, the pain I felt became more intense until I could see nothing but darkness.
'Where am I?' I wondered. The surroundings were very dark. Only the moon gave light so somehow, I could see where I was, inside a forest.
I heard footsteps from not far away. I saw an old woman, cloaked in black. She slowly walked closer.
I did not know how but suddenly my hair stood up. I wanted to run and scream but I could not, as if a strong force was stopping me.
I did not notice that she was already in front of me.
In a dash, I woke up and sat on the bed. I felt sweat streaming from my forehead.
My eyes observed the surroundings. My forehead creased in astonishment. The last thing I remembered I was inside the cafeteria before I fainted. How did I get here in my room?
I looked at the door when it opened and Sister Rona entered. She smiled at me. "You are awake. Are you feeling well? Does your head still hurt?"
"Sister, what happened when I lost consciousness?"
