RHEIN'S POINT OF VIEW
She sat down next to me and lightly stroked my hair. "Your schoolmates took you to the clinic. When the guidance counselor called me, I went there right away. You have not woken up for hours so I just decided to take you home. Well, my workmate picked you up and took us here."
I looked out the window. It was already dark. Night came.
In my whole life, I had only just experienced such intense pain. As far as I knew, I had no illness that could cause me to be like that.
Witch - I was just thinking about that earlier when I felt severe pain in my head. What if... it did have anything to do with what happened to me?
"Sister, did the school doctor say anything about why my head hurts?"
"He said, it may be because of lack of sleep."
I frowned. "I do not lack sleep."
"Yes. I was surprised too. You like to sleep. Maybe, you are getting too much sleep?" then, she laughed.
I just shook my head. "Yes, it might be."
After that, silence enveloped us. I thought, no one would talk to us anymore. I was just surprised when Sister hugged me.
"Rhein, it is close. Be careful."
I was a little confused by what she said but I just nodded and felt her hug. "I know, Sister. I will always be careful."
RONA'S POINT OF VIEW
"All right. Just go out when you are hungry."
She was just staring outside the window before I left her alone. I could see in her eyes that she was starting to get confused. The change in her life was beginning.
With the headache that happened to her, I had a strong suspicion that she did it.
"I thought she was planning to cause trouble. It seems like she is doing the opposite," Dylan said.
I found him drinking a bottle of soft drink and leaning against the refrigerator. He was not with his partner because I let it out to accompany my partner.
I shrugged my shoulders in response. "You have a point but she can also just pretend that she is helping and later on, she will attack when we are at ease. We still need to be doubly careful."
I had no idea why she was interfering. I could not imagine what her real purpose was. If she wanted our lives, she would have attempted to kill us a long time ago but she did not.
"Two big problems: the test for Rhein and the danger of a strong dark mage. Stressful too much, Princess?"
I glared at the slap-ground with me. I had a bad mood and yet still, he teased.
"Your mission is very difficult, Your Highness."
"Cut the crap, Dylan. And to correct what you have said, it is not just my mission. You are involved as well. You probably heard what I said to my sister earlier, did not you? You are my workmate."
"All right." His seriousness was back. "After what you found out earlier, is there still no change to be made to the plan? She has seized your role."
I shook to say no. "Let her be. She is the real witch in any way. We just have to watch what happens."
