The professor had a wide smile across his face, "Unazia. This is a wonderful place Mrs Ferg." He looked around at his surroundings with all the people and homes. He stopped looking around at faced Mrs Ferg, "But how have I not heard of it before. I am sure any adventurer that made it to such a wonderous place would speak of it with anyone who would listen."
Mrs Ferg kept her smile and didn't falter, "Because this place does not exist, and you will keep it that way won't you." Mrs Ferg's expression didn't change at all, but Professor Nara felt this massive pressure fall onto himself as Mrs Ferg looked at him. He felt sweat flowing down the back of his shirt and his natural instinct for self defense against a stronger opponent kicked in, but he kept his cool and just nodded. "Great then we can continue on."
Mrs Ferg turned on her heel and walked off into the small town ahead. Professor Nara wiped the sweat from his head, 'What the hell was that?' He asked himself as he followed after Mrs Ferg. They walked into the centre square of the town. Professor Nara couldn't believe his eyes. It was filled with people busy shopping and selling their goods.
Professor Nara walked off on his own to inspect the goods available. He found plants that he did not recognise and even spotted the plant that attacked him being sold from what seemed to be a magical items shop. There were men and women buying the goods with a foreign currency to what he used in the kingdom. He spotted a blacksmith and saw giant men swinging massive hammers that he thought would break on impact but didn't even have a dent when the were reraised by the men.
They were using a dark black metal that had a shiny aspect to them. They had darker spots in some areas but once the men placed the metal in a bright purple flame the marks disappeared. Professor Nara was as curious about the flames as he was about the metals, but Mrs Ferg pulled him away by the ear before he could ask any questions.
"We have no time for dawdling. You need to focus now and then some of your questions may be answered later, but right now no one here will help you unless you have something to offer in return and seeing how you have no Gorons, you can't purchase anything. Let's get a move on now, before we are late." Mrs Ferg marched off in the direction of a tall tower in the distance.
Professor Nara was confused but he still followed Mrs Ferg. "What the hell are Gorons and what are we late for. You just made me follow you here. What is going on?" Professor Nara was about to continue his rant when he saw the tower they had seen before. He eyes filled with awe and greed at the same time. He stared at the gold covered tower and walls surrounding it.
Gold was a rarity after magic came about as it was necessary for magical items and army. The mages of the world had only found gold to be useful for magic and hadn't explored further. Mages would fight while putting their lives on the line to get the gold that coated the walls and the tower. The was shaped like swirls on the tower and crossing across the walls. The amount of gold used to cover the whole exterior of the tower and walls was close to 10 tons of gold.
The professor just kept thinking about all the experiments he could conduct if he just took a small amount of that gold. The professor was in a daze until Mrs Ferg snapped her fingers next to his ears and brought him back to reality. "Stop staring we have to go now." Mrs Ferg shook her head as she walked up to the gates where there were two guards stationed.
They each wore armor and weald a spear made from the metal Professor Nara saw at the blacksmith. The stepped aside and let Mrs Ferg pass while giving her a deep bow. Professor Nara followed behind her but instead of receiving a bow like Mrs Ferg they raised there blades against the throat of Professor Nara. The tip of their blades pierced his throat slightly drawing blood. Mrs Ferg turned around and looked at the scene. She spoke in a calm tone, "Release him. He is with me."
The soldiers hesitated for a second but then stood back and lowered their weapons. They stepped aside and let Professor Nara through, without an apology or a bow. Professor Nara was a little annoyed but didn't let it show on hi s face as he didn't want to find out what the soldiers reaction would be.
Mrs Ferg turned and continued to the entrance to the tower, once she knew the professor was safe and there would be no more incidents on there walk. She went through the door but before Professor Nara entered he checked for guards so nothing happened again. "Do not was professor. The guards are aware that you are with me so what happened before won't happen again." Professor Nara trusted Mrs Ferg but was still cautious at every door they went through or passage they went down.
Mrs Ferg stopped at a giant wooden door that had golden patterns on it as well. Mrs Ferg reached inside her pocket and took out a necklace that had a pendant hanging from it. It was the shape of a star and was made entirely from gold. There was a smaller red star on the outside of it and the professor couldn't recognise the gem used for it. Mrs Ferg placed the pendant against the door in a small hole.
The ground began to shake and rumble as lines flowed from where the pendant was around the door. It was almost as the door was announcing their arrival to what ever was behind the door. All the gold on the door lit up and shone brightly. Professor Nara had to look away as it seemed to be as bright as the sun. Mrs Ferg didn't even flinch and stared directly at the door. Once all the gold was covered the rumbling stopped and the door opened slowly.
Once professor took his arm away from shielding his eyes, he saw a massive round table that seated ten people. There were people sitting at the table talking politely, others arguing about irrelevant things and some laughing at their expense. There was a person standing behind each seat that occupied someone. Once the doors were fully open everyone got up from their seats as Mrs Ferg walked in. Those behind the seat dropped to one knee and lowered their heads.
A woman with scarlet red eyes and straight black hair gave a small bow and then stood up straight. She was a stunning woman with all the right curves but seemed to be too perfect to be human. "Welcome, thee who calls herself Ferg." All those standing gave a small bow to Mrs Ferg.
Professor Nara didn't know what to say he just stared at what was unfolding in front of his eyes. 'What the hell is going on here! And who the hell is Mrs Ferg?' He thought to himself.
