Chapter 36 - Physicality (Part 3)

Nobuhle looked at the professor, "I trained hard, that's how," She said sarcastically while turning her back on the professor and beginning to walk away from him. She didn't like being stared as most boys had been too scared to approach her because of her physique.

"What just a moment please." The professor said while grabbing her arm and stopping her. She immediately ripped her arm from his grip. The professor smiled in surprise, 'Pretty impressive. I wasn't using my full strength but for a 13 year old to be able to escape my grip is a pretty amazing feat.' The professor looked at the young lady, "Could you please state your name again?" The professor said while placing his arm by his side again.

She stood up straight again, "As I said before sir, my name is Nobuhle, and I am 13 years old. That is all the information that I will allow you to know about me." The professor looked into space for a second and tried to pronounce her name correctly before addressing her with it.

'How did she pronounce it again. Nobohe, no that's not right it was something else like, Nobele. No that's wrong too. Ahh, I don't want to pronounce her name wrong she is already pissed off with me enough. Okay one more time and then I'll try and see, Nobuhe, yeah that sounds right. Lets try and see.' The professor cleared his throat a little, "Please tell me if I am wrong. Is it Nobuhe?"

The young girl shook her head in disappointment, "No sir you are missing the 'hle' at the end. You need to take your tongue and make the tip touch the top of your mouth. Then spread your tongue wide as you say it creating a bit of spit in your mouth. You will then make a 'hle' sound." The professor nodded and started his attempts as he did not want to get a students name wrong.

The professor followed her instructions and started by placing his tongue on the top of his mouth and widening his tongue. He gave a few attempts before Nobuhle nodded that he was correct. "Okay now I've got it, No…bu…hle, Nobuhle. Am I correct?" The professor looked at the youth for a sign of acknowledgement.

"Well done sir, you have learnt one of your students names." She said sarcastically while slowly clapping her hands to annoy and attempt to embarrass her teacher. Instead of getting annoyed by her sarcastic manner he started to bow to everyone like an actor does after a play, while throwing kisses around to the students around them.

"Anyway, now that I have done that, Nobuhle will you please fight against that girl over there as she also seems to have experience, but I do believe you are the best here. I will let you fight some of your male counterparts at a later stage in the week once everyone is categorised and I have a sheet from best to worst fighters." Nobuhle nodded and then left to another arena where a girl was standing triumphantly over her opponent, who had a bloody nose from being hit.

Under the tree Sasori was coming back to his senses and sat up to see Jacob sitting next to him with a water bottle in hand and a concerned look on his face. Sasori started grunting while he sat himself up. He was lying on the root of the tree which was very uncomfortable for him. Jacob turned towards his friend on the ground and helped him up, "Are you okay now? Do you need some water?" He said while giving Sasori a hand and offering the water bottle.

"No, I am alright thanks." Sasori said while grabbing Jacob's hand and lifting himself up from the ground. He leaned against the tree they were under and looked over at the fights happening on the platform. His head started to hurt slightly, and he could her someone call out a name that was not his own. He saw images of a small boy and an old man in what seemed to be an old dojo that were now out of commission.

Jacob saw Sasori grab his head and quickly put the water in front of him, "Please have some of this before you pass out again." Jacob looked really concerned for his friend, so he took the bottle and had a sip of water. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, when he reopened his eyes everything seemed to have changed. What he saw was different there were different colours of light in place of the people fighting and an aura around everyone of them that varied in size.

Sasori closed his eyes and wiped them because he didn't believe what he was seeing. He reopened them and everyone was back to normal. 'I really must be dehydrated to the point that I am hallucinating.' Sasori drank the rest of the water after offering some to Jacob.

Inside the den of the Phoenix, in the forest behind the school, about 100km away from the training grounds. The Phoenix was meditating to regain the strength it had lost as well as clam down and go over all the known information about The Seven. The Phoenix's concentration was broken by the sudden increase in mana the school.

The phoenix immediately got up and was ready to fly towards the source when it disappeared. The Phoenix stopped itself and looked through an orb that showed the school through the surveillance devices. The Phoenix saw the Year 1's training in hand-to-hand combat. 'There is no way that such young students could produce such mana. Even with the professor there he is already at his maximum mana capacity for his life.'

'I must be sensing things wrong; I better get some proper rest to get back to peak condition.' As the Phoenix was about to go to sleep a thought popped into it's mind, 'Unless it's that.' The phoenix scrounged through all the stuff in it's den until it found a box of documents from a different era. The phoenix found a specific document, 'It could be but that is impossible, I'll look at this again tomorrow.' The Phoenix lay it's head down and went to sleep.
