Chapter 7 - First Day (Part 1)

"What do you mean the swords are active again.," said the master "I don't know why but the guards by the seals said that they activated again.," said a guard.

"This is bad. If they are active again it means he is back, but that isn't possible. We killed him 100 years ago." The master was confused and worried as a man had possibly returned. "Are you sure both of them have awakened and not just one because we have had people capable of wielding one before."

"I am sure that both have awakened sir, it is not like before. By the way, who is this man that you fear?" asked the guard.

"You don't need to know!" yelled the master as he grabbed the guard around his throat and lifting him into the air. The master squeezed his hand shut and the guards head exploded. The master used magic, and the mess was cleaned up. The master made a call through a crystal ball which was abruptly answered, "Hello Mr Zabuza, we have a problem."

-----

Sasori, Ezra, and Jay were all excited to start at their new school, especially Sasori as he had wanted to use magic his whole life. "Let's go," said an excited Sasori. He had such a big smile on his face that Jay started to smile as well because he was happy for his friend.

The three of them walked in through the gate after saying goodbye to their respective parents. As they walked, they recognised the rest of the students in their year from the crowd. Each student had a distinct colour armband on to show which year they were in.

Green was Year 1, Yellow Year 2, Blue Year 3, Red Year 4, Orange, Year 5, and White for Year 6. On the armband was also a letter A, B, C or D depending on their class. Some students that Sasori spotted seemed to have a black star on their sleeve, but he didn't know what they meant.

In the courtyard they meet in for their testing were students with the black star. "All first years to the Griffon Hall to meet Professor Levesque and be welcomed to the school." Said one of the students.

The student was a young girl with brown hair in a bun and a pair of glasses that shielded her emerald eyes. She had a few freckles on her cheeks under her eyes and a beautiful smile. She spotted the three of them and walked over. "Morning guys are you first years."

The three of them nodded in unison. "Great, okay can you see the building with the Griffon crest. Go there and Professor Levesque will help you from there on." "Thank you," said Sasori with a bright smile.

The three of them waved goodbye to the young girl and headed to the Griffon Hall. The campus was noticeably big. It was a 30-acre piece of land. It had the school buildings in the front with the reception in the middle and two halls on each side. One was the Griffon Hall where the first 3 years would meet for assemblies and the Dragon hall where the rest of the school would meet.

Behind the front three buildings was a large courtyard where students could meet for socialising. There were three fountains in this area with grass, trees, and flower gardens. The students were able to sit of the benches under the trees or on the grass if they wanted to.

Behind the courtyard was the classrooms for the students. Each year had its own building. The buildings were each four stories high; each class had its own floor. Behind the classrooms were training areas for hand-to-hand combat and magic.

The students had their residence at the back of the school property, and it was surrounded by a giant forest that covered the rest of the land in the area. The three students made their way to the Griffon Hall and were welcomed by Professor Levesque, "Morning students, could please make your way inside. Please try and sit near the front so that you are able to see the stage clearly and so you can hear the principal clearly."

The three students nodded and headed inside. The hall bigger on the inside then on the outside. "I wonder how they did that?" said Sasori as he was looking at the interior in awe. Neither of them had any idea how the hall was bigger inside then outside.

They made their way to the front of the hall. On the walls hung pictures of great magicians that used to come to the school as well as previous headmasters.

They found three seats in the third row and went to sit down. "I wonder who the headmaster is this year?" said Jay. "That's right, there is a new one this year. I wonder how strong he is?" said Sasori. "Apparently he is the strongest headmaster the school has ever had. They have been trying to get him to become the headmaster for a couple of years now. Some even say he is the strongest in the world," said the boy behind them.

He had blonde hair and blue eyes. He was quite tall for his age, being 5 feet tall already and he was well built. "Really is that true?" asked Sasori. "It's true my mom told me something similar before I left home," said Ezra.

"Oh sorry, I should have introduced myself before jumping into your conversation. My name is Marcus Mandrake, nice to meet you." said the boy behind them. "Nice to meet you, I'm Sasori Denki. To my left is Ezra Fugita and to my right is Jay Graen."

"Nice to meet you.", he said both of them. "Attention all students could you please stop talking so you can hear me." said Professor Levesque. The noise in the room from the student's conversations died out quickly at the professor's command.

"Thank you. Now, congratulations to all of you for making it into this prestigious school. I think a round of applause is due." Professor Levesque, the other professors and the students all started clapping.

"Okay, no I would like to introduce you all to our new Headmaster. He has travelled the world developing his magic. He has discovered the main reasons as to how magic came about and developed how we could harness the power of the world. If you could please give a round of applause to our new Headmaster, Headmaster Artemis."

Everyone stood up clapping as the new Headmaster walked onto the stage. He was a middle-aged man with silver white hair and beard. The hair colour didn't make him look old though. He was very muscular and looked incredibly strong. He had dark blue eyes that seemed to be filled with wisdom.

Sasori then saw it, a scar on the right side of his face, from his eye to the bottom of his right nostril. Sasori then felt like his head was about to explode. He saw flashing images pass through his mind that he had never seen before and then they stopped. Jay looked at his in worry, "Are you okay?" "Yes, I don't know came over me. I feel like I know that man though."
