"Okay everyone let's get a move on and get through" said Professor Nara as he started to push the students closest to him in. "We don't have all day and more importantly I don't have all day." Professor Nara walked in, and everyone followed as fast as possible. Sasori walked through the blue portal and found himself in the middle of a corridor that had three different doors along it.
"Okay everyone welcome to your classrooms. Each one is for a different purpose, and we will move them depending on what we will be learning. The middle classroom is our main classroom where we will discuss the history of magic and learn about the basics of magic. In the classroom to your far right is where all practical work will be done. It is where you will practice all your magic unless we are outside of course.
Before you go off and practice your magic by yourself, I must warn you that is strictly prohibited. You can only practice magic if you have a teacher supervising you. Once you are in the 4th year and above you won't need supervision because you should be able to control your magic by then. And finally, the classroom on your far left is where you will interact with magical beasts and where we will bring monsters for you to identify and learn about. All the rooms are magically controlled so no one will get hurt. Okay follow me."
Everyone followed Professor Nara into the main classroom and found their seats. Sasori was sat between Ezra and Marcus. "Okay everyone if you look on your desks there should be a book of the school rules and regulations." As the Professor said that a thin A5 booklet, with a red cover and the school's crest appeared in front of all the students. "I should read through it with you all, but I don't have the time so sort it out for yourselves." The were some students complaining because of their teacher's attitude but it died down once everyone realised it wouldn't change because of some complaints.
"Okay everyone you can now go back through the portal we came through and head towards the dormitories to receive your keys and unpack your belongings." A female student raised her hand and Professor Nara nodded for them to speak, "Sorry Sir but didn't we leave our belongings by the Griffon Hall. Shouldn't we go their first to get our luggage before headed to the dorms?"
Professor Nara sighed, "No, all your belongings have been moved into your rooms while we were busy walking here. Anyone one else got a dumb question. No, then let's go." The young girl covered her face with her hands after the embarrassment in front of the whole class. Everyone felt sorry for her because they all had a similar question but were happy they didn't ask it.
Everyone went out the portal and followed their professor to the back of the school where al the students stayed. There were six building, one for each year. "Before someone asks everyone is split up in the building. Each person has their own room with only one key to it. It cannot be broken into so don't feel scared about getting attacked. You can let someone into your room but that is at your own risk." The girls were sighed in relief at their professor's words.
When they got to their building there was an elderly woman with grey hair, and she seemed to be very frail. She was hunched over, and her eyelids were so close it seemed that her eyes were closed. She was only 5 foot 1 and barely came up their teacher's shoulder. "Students this is Mrs Ferg. She is the person who will look after everyone in this dormitory but do not worry about her seeming so frail she is extremely strong, so don't cause chaos in this dormitory or she will sort you out properly.
"Morning students, it's a pleasure to meet you all. As Professor Nara said don't cause chaos in here and you will be fine if you do then that's an entirely different scenario." A few students were a bit worried at her words as she continued to have a soft smile that seemed to be hiding something sinister behind it. "Anyway, please come in and I will hand out everyone's key and you can go to your rooms."
Everyone followed the old lady and their professor through a white door made of oak wood. What the students couldn't see was that the door was heavily protected by spells and that the entire building was surrounded by powerful magical barriers. Once Sasori walked inside what welcomed him was a warm sitting room with some extremely comfortable couches and a fireplace that wasn't lit at the moment due to the weather inside.
There was a counter opposite the sitting room which the old lady walked behind. She took out a big book from a drawer below the counter and flipped the pages until she found their classes photos. Next to everyone's photo was their name and a description of everyone and their magical ability to date. "Okay everyone once you hear your name, please come get your key and follow the light wisp that appears towards your room. Don't worry it won't harm you it is just a guide to your rooms."
Everyone was called forward one at a time and a wisp of light appeared in front of those with a key. What the students didn't know about the wisps is that they assumed the colour related to their what element or type of magic they would be good at. Most people had a white light which meet that they could use all the common elements of magic but wouldn't have any specific type of magic that they would flourish at.
When Ezra was called forward her light wisp appeared white and then turned meaning that she was a mage that could use dark magic, which was a very destructive type of magic but could be used for delicate procedures in the medical field. Next up was Marcus, his wisp was white and then turned a rainbow colour that changed into a dark blue colour like the portals they walked through previously. This made him a dimensional mage which was a rare occurrence among all mages. Everyone could make a dimensional portal with enough practice and study, but dimensional mages could bend space at their will which was incredibly dangerous and amazing at the same time.
When Sasori was called his wisp was white and then turned red and had a unique light green, that was almost invisible, that neither the professor nor the old lady had seen before. The red identified him as a person who could use fire to it's full potential. A few students had this as well as mages around the world, if practiced correctly it could become as or even more destructive then dark magic.
