When Sasori got home his mom was sitting on her bed in anticipation of the results. She looked up at him with worried eyes as he walked in, "Did you get in!?" He looked at his mom and smiled, "I didn't just get in, I am the 3rd highest in the entire year!" His mom leapt off the bed screaming and shouting. She grabbed Sasori and pulled him into a massive hug while kissing him on his head and crying. Once she calmed down, she looked him in the eye and said, "Congratulations my dear boy." Sasori then explained to his mom how they were tested and where Ezra and Jay had come.
The next day a letter was sent to all the students that had been accepted to explain how they must pay their fees, if they had any and when they must be sent to the school to begin their magical education. Their was also a list of equipment and items that were necessary before coming for their first day. All the items were very expensive so Anna was worried that she wouldn't be able to get them, but at the end of the list, it said 'All costs will be covered by the school, so do not hesitate to buy the equipment because of the price tag'.
Anna then took a day of leave and took Sasori to the centre of town, where all the top magical shops were located. They had to wear the best clothing they had available as this was a hotspot for the wealthy and you didn't want to stick out if you were of a lower class in society. They went to the first place, which was a very famous tailor shop called Gryphon's Tailoring.
They walked in to go order their uniform which would be made with magical thread to increase the protection applied to the uniform. The uniform consisted of short pants, a white shirt, a blazer, and a coat that provided a protective shield around the wielder. Within the lining of the coat there were secret poaches that the tailor called 'Dimensional Pockets'. Apparently you could store what ever you wanted inside their as long it was not bigger than a 3m3.
After the tailor's shop they went to collect textbooks from specific stores around town. They even had to go get different chalks for drawing magic circles. Every item was very specific and had to be bought from specific stores around town. While they continued their extravagant shopping Sasori noticed that students in lower classes to him were buying from different stores to his mom and himself.
Sasori then realised that they were getting different items to him as well. He thought about it and came to the conclusion that depending on your class would depend on what you would start learning and how fast your class would then progress.
After collecting the last few items necessary Sasori's mom turned him and said, "It's getting late we should hurry home but before we go lets go get dinner as a congratulations for your huge achievement of getting into The Great Alcaraz's School for Magic." Sasori looked and his mom happily, "Are you sure you can afford it. This kind of place is expensive, and it is getting late already, should we not just go home."
Anna smiled at her son's thoughtfulness towards her, "It doesn't matter this is your moment and I probably won't be able to do it again." Sasori nodded, "Okay, thank you Mom." They then walked down towards a nearby restaurant and had a tasty hot pot that Sasori would remember for years to come.
The next week Sasori's uniform arrived, and his eyes were shining at the sight of it. It was the cleanest and most expensive piece of clothing he had ever owned. He decided that he was going to Jay's house to show off his new uniform and see what Jay's uniform looked like. When Sasori arrived, Jay walked out to greet his friend. "Hello Sasori, how did your shopping go?" "It went great, I got to see all these fancy shops that I never dreamt of going to and my mom was kind enough to take me to a nearby restaurant for a celebratory hot pot."
Jay smiled happily for his friend, "Look here Jay" Sasori took out his new uniform and showed it of to him, "Isn't it cool, the tailor at the shop made it himself." Sasori had such a big smile across his face that Jay didn't want to ruin it, so he hid his own uniform from him. "Jay, where is your uniform, has it not arrived yet?"
Jay shook his head and lied, "No, I haven't received it yet." Unlike Sasori's uniform, Jay's uniform was an old second hand uniform that a former student had used, kit wasn't a tailor made one like Sasori's. It had clear burn marks on it were the magic had faded after excessive use, Jay came to the conclusion that more than one person had used it before himself.
Sasori then said to Jay, "Let's go find Ezra and ask her to play with us one last time before we start our brand new lives in our brand new school." Jay nodded in agreement and the two of them ran off towards Ezra's house. When they got there the Head maid stopped them and said, "Sorry boys you can't play with Ezra today, she is busy preparing for her first day at magic school with her mother so I doubt she will come out."
The boys dropped their heads in disappointment. "But we wanted to play one more time before we went off to school." The old lady turned while saying, "I know you must be disappointed. Here is an idea, when you are finished at school all three of you must go to the place you normally play. You don't have to play together just go their and talk about the past and how far you have come together."
Jay looked a little confused but responded with, "I'm not too sure what you are on about, but I think what you are trying to say id that we must come back together and stay together like we always have." Sasori nodded in agreement of his friend. The old lady laughed, "I guess you could interpret it that way."
The next day everyone was ready. The big day had finally come. They were all going to attend the prestigious Great Alcaraz's School for Magic. All they had ahead of them were there dreams of becoming top mages and anything else there mind could imagine. All three of them met at the front gate to the school and stepped forward towards their new lives.
