"It has been too long, I've never been separated from one of my kin for so long before" Shade open his arms to welcome her to a hug.
"We are not kin" FunPup snarled and she raised the fur on the back of her neck.
"Oh you see we are" Shade amused, "I gave you my blood, we are kin now by blood bite".
"I would rather have holy water shoved down my throat then call you kin" FunPup hissed.
"Wow I thought you were no longer a cub" Shade joked, "come on you're clearly hungry, let's hunt together" he gestured.
"The sun" FunPup mentioned.
"I'll teach you how to ignore the affects of the sun that you are not a fletchling" Shade gestured for her to follow.
"I'm not a killer" FunPup crossed her arms and refused to move.
"Then how did you lose your fletchling hood?" Shade smiled in confusion.
"I thought that a demons blood would help but it only turned me" FunPup explained, hatred and love came to FunPup when she thought of Inshal, 'stop! I love Willow!' she told herself.
"You found a demon?" Shade looked impressed, "who? what is their name?" he askedm
"Well a angel, demon hybrid named Inshal offered blood but hers was to holy so she got a demon named Marlo" FunPup explained and she saw the startled look on Shade.
"Marlo!?" Shade clearly wanted to confirm.
"Yes" FunPup nodded.
"His blood is also holy, I hope you know that" Shade semi explained.
"What? he is the most twisted creature I have ever seen" FunPup didn't believe him.
"Yeah he is the first fallen angel" Shade explained, "when demons first became to be some angels saw their twisted ways and they joined them. Marlo was the very first, from the ancient tales that I know his wings turned a smoky blue, then they turned scaly, his halo turned to horns and then he looked like any other demon. He became the king of the most feared and powerful demon kingdom" Shade finished and FunPup ft as if Inshal should know this.
"So I drank evil angel blood?" FunPup asked sounding as if she didn't care.
"Let's just go out hunting, only humans, you should be fine if it's not a furry" Shade then grabbed hold of her wrist, "if you want to be apart of society that is".
"So about the sun?" FunPup asked.
"Yeah this way" Shade took her to the sun light and they spent an hour trying to work it out but eventually FunPup was able to walk in the sunshine once more. "Right now follow me to get something to eat" Shade led her to a camp, the humans are at ware with the elfs but it felt wired seeing them in war armor and armed to the teeth.
"It's easy to separate one from the others, just gotta act like there is something worth their time" Shade explained. He then went up to one who was wondering close to the camp, they traded a few words then Shade went to the forest. FunPup followed and she saw Shade slam the soldier on a tree and bit his neck. He ignored the screams and pushed some weight onto his neck, he is clearly pushing more blood out to the open woned. The soldier made a noise that told her that blood was spilling into his neck and when he coughed blood spat out and Shade bit down harder making the soldier scream but he couldn't anymore. He struggled for a few minutes then he stopped, he lost his breath then slowly died due to blood lost. Shade let go when he stopped breathing, "now you should get one" Shade wiped his mouth and blood splattered on the grass.
"Right, so what should I say?" FunPup looker for a target, she saw a soldier all on her own sitting on a rock drawing in a drawing pad.
"It's all about figuring out their interests, the one you're looking at is obviously an artist, tell her that you saw some that will help her improve or that you would like her to draw something for you" Shade explained. He sat on the ground, leaning on a tree and licking his lips.
"Right" FunPup nodded and went to her, she made it so that only her would see her, it would be wired for the camp to see two furrys take their soldiers away. "I see you like drawing" FunPup started.
"Yes" the soldier looked confused and she held her gun close.
"I saw something in the forest, I was wondering if you would draw it for me" she asked and pointed to a thick part of the forest.
"What is wrong with your thangs?" she asked and she loaded her gun, "you're a vampire".
"No" FunPup put her arms in a surrender position, "my mothers side has naturally large thangs, I got a big part of that gene" she explained a lie.
"Oh" the soldier put her gun away, "sorry, I didn't know that".
"Would like to draw this thing?" FunPup asked gesturing to the forest.
"Sure but I can't be long, I need to start patrolling" the gard got up and walked with her.
FunPup led her a little into the forest, "so what exactly is it?" the soldier asked and FunPup smelled the blood of Shades victim and her vision turned red. FunPup jumped onto the soldier and snapped her jaw on her neck, "I knew it!" the soldier tried to shoot at her but missed. FunPup grabbed the gun and threw it, she drained as much blood as she can. Gulping it down like she was starved for months. The soldier scream out and FunPup stabbed her neck with her claws to get her to stop. The feeling of warm blood soaking the fur on her hands made her feel wired inside but she liked it.
Blood was splattered across her jaw and snout, she felt alive and energy rushed through her. When she couldn't draw anymore blood out of her FunPup let go, she was dead and her neck was a mess of fresh blood and slashes. "You were more hungry then I thought" Shade lifted her up, "let's clean it all this up". He led her to the river a few minutes away and Shade pushed her in. He then jumped in after her, "do you like swimming?" he asked swimming freely.
"I don't mind it, but a cold river when winter just started is not what I call pleasant" FunPup just focused on washing the blood out of her fur. It felt nice when she was feeding but now it was sticky and a big mess. They saw blood leak in the river and it was honestly beautiful for FunPup to see.
"Now that's a lot" Shade laughed, moving to flot one his back, "how starved were you?".
"The only blood I had was cows blood" FunPup explained scrubbing her fur.
"Wow, animal blood can stop you from acting out and killing someone who is with you but it does not fill you" Shade laughed as if it was hilarious.
"I can tell" FunPup thought about Willow.
"What's wrong?" Shade asked moving to give her a hug as if he is her father, "something isbon your mind".
"I almost bit my girlfriend multiple times, she saw how my eyes change when I'm hungry" FunPup then pushed him away.
"Then bit her" Shade flouted until he rested his back on the bank.
"What!?" FunPup gave him a look to say "what the f-ck?".
"Turn her, make her like you and then if she wants she can join us with the nest" Shade said calmly.
"I'm not joining a nest" FunPup hissed and a surprised look filled Shades face.
"I thought you can out find me to figure out how to be a vampire" Shade spoke and FunPup had a few questions, 'how did he knew that?' FunPup asked herself.
"Yes but I don't want to be in a nest, from what I've heard they are messed up" FunPup shook her head, "how did you know that I've been looking for an answer?" FunPup confronted and Shade had a look.
"Not gonna lie, it is easy sneaking into your vents" he said and FunPups ears dropped, "what? I hate being separated from my kin, especially blood bite kin. So I've been meaning to meet you but you're always with Willows nower days".
"That's even worse" FunPup swam back in descussed, 'what has he seen?' she panicked.
"Look I left when things started to happen and I didn't ease drop... too much" Shade tried to explain himself.
"What do you know? what have you heard?" FunPup interrogated.
"No much just... everything" Shade had an awkward grin, "I know I have a problem".
"And you want me to join your nest?" FunPup rolled her eyes.
"I'll stop ease dropping when I know that vampire hunters live in the same building as you" Shade admitted.
"There are vampire hunters living in my building? when?" FunPup had no idea and about any of this.
"When Rosa moved in" Shade pointed his noise up in descussed, "she is training in the art, but she isn't the only one in that town". 'How can I go back now?' FunPup thought then she made a decision.
"Look fine I'll see what your nest is like but don't expect me to join just like that" FunPup decleared.
"Great, I didn't need to push you" Shade nodded, he then got up and began to walk, "you got most of it out, you can get the rest out with the stain remover I have" he then lifted her out of the river and showed her the way.
