On the third year, Real was not able to enrolled. Classmates, friends and teachers thought that he already stop his study. But, they were wrong, the journey of Real was just about to start, from a scratch and slowly building and improving his intellectual areas. He transferred during his third year in highschool, into his aunt's school. His aunt is an english teacher, and a valedictorian and a cumlaude in here batch. Every time coordinators asked an outstanding pupil to participate in various inter division contest in Mathematics, Real's aunt always suggested his nephew, she always recommend that his nephew was good in mathematics. But, it was an opposite one. What just Real's aunt did is a strategy in order for Real to enhanced and developed his cognitive area. One day, afternoon, Real's aunt said, "I suggested and included you to a cluster level Math Festival Contest, and from now on you are a mathematician, hahahahahahaha. Real replied, but aunt you knew that my grades in mathematics were very low, I am not good in mathematics, and his tears were dropping because of the situation. He can't sleep, thinking how to refuse the recommendation. One day, the math coordinator called the attention of the three chosen mathematician students for their training for the upcoming math festival cluster division level. The upcoming valedictorian, Salutatorian, and guess who's the third mathematician? hahaha of course it was Real. During training, Real is so sad that the Math coordinator noticed it. The coordinator asked, Real? are you okay? and he replied no sir, I don't even understand how to solve angles, phythagorean theorem, quadratic equation, areas and parameters of different shapes and even operating single digit with different signs. The coordinator replied, that's why we are all here to train. Mathemathics is not a subject for intelligent students only, mathematics is for everyone. If you don't mind Real, give me a chance to teach you techniques and variety of methods in order for you to easily understand mathematics. Real replied with a smile, "yes Sir"! While the days were passing by, the learnings and critical thinking of Real is slowly going wider. The day for math festival contest cluster level arrived and they were able to land and included on the top10 school which will present their own school and move to the next level, which is the division level. After cluster level, here it comes, the mathematicians continue to train harder for the upcoming division festival. Real was moved to a comics area where he had a partner for the event and he was the one who is going to decide what to draw and what to wrote in the script area. The topic for comics of division level that was, "Lolong, the world biggest crocodile". His old classmates able to saw Real at the contest and keep asking why are you here? You are not belong here, and what even more surprising was that Real is there co contestant in the event. The contest was already done and the emcee was announcing the winners and Real with his partner able to land in 9th placed out of many schools inside their province for comics event. Real was so happy that being a bullied and coined as a dull already making and carving a history. The contestant role of Real continued not just in mathematics but in science quiz, science fair and even in Philippines History quiz bowl. During the last year his last year in high school, Real is fighting for the first honorable mentioned position, next to a salutatorian but there were also daughters of his teachers which was his classmates that was craving for the position. Real's teacher dropped the grades of Real so that the first honorable mentioned would be award to their daughters. Real's aunt saw the grades of him and his aunt doesn't believed it, she talk to the parents of Real's classmates that Real was worthy of a high grade not lower thab their daughters, and if they are not going to change the grade of Real, she will also drop to the fullest the grade of their daughter, because Real's aunt was also their teacher in English Subject. The teachers change the grade of Real and during graduation, Real was awarded as the first honorable mentioned and artist of the year with a complete attendance from his third year up to his fourth year. The sad part was, Real's parent wasn't able to attend the graduation because of the distance of the place and financial problem. Real was so sad on that day. After graduation, Real was able to went home and happily hugged his parents. Real was very happy, after 2 years without communication, finally he was able to be with them. As a daily routine of his family, they went to a farm, making copra, charcoal and rubber tapping. They were not in a good financial status but they were very happy and contented. After two months, Real needed to went back to his aunt's house to continue his study in college. Even if it hurts, they must let go for the brighter future of their son. The travel took 6 hours, from a four-hour boat travel and two-hour bus travel. While he was on gis way, Real's tears were dropping because the feeling of missing his family but he needed too for his future. He took an intrance examination at a state university with a course of Electrical Engineering and able to pass the exam and interview with a grade between average and above average. After passing the preliminary requirements for enrollement, he was able to enrolled to his choosen course. After few days, he needed to say goodbye to his aunt for his college life, a new chapter and a challenging stage of achieving his dream. During first week of being on college, it was an straggle for him, financially and emotionally. It wasn't easy and because of the struggle, Real was able to do the unexpected things, as holding on the sharp blade of life to survive.
