One day, when Real was on the top of a coconut tree to harvest adult coconuts to make copra and charcoal to sell to buy food and his father's medicine, a coconut accidentally fell to his forehead and with a blink of an eyes, his vision balck out and unfortunately he was almost fainted. He immediately go down from the top of a coconut tree while his eyes were closed and lying down. He already climed hundred of coconut tree. He was already tired but he needed to do the job for a living. An hour on the ground while thinking, an idea came to his mind and whispered, "continue you study, it's better than late than never". Without a doubt, immediately he stood up and ran four hundred distance going to their home. When he arrived, his father shocked and asked, " why are you in a hurry son? is something happened? While he breathe deeply and faster, he replied loudly", dad, I will continue my study in college please support me. In a matter of second, there was a spark in his father's face and said", yes son, I will do my best to support you! His father didn't notice that his happiness cure his illness, he can stand up and walk. Real said, "dad, look! you can stand and walk! His father said, Yes son, it is true that happiness is a medicine. On the same day, Real walked two kilometers going to the photo shop to process his 2x2 picture as one of the requirement for his enrollment. He chose to walked, because his money was only intended for the picture. When he arrive from the photo shop, his father barrowed some money, so that Real can enroll in the State College in Agusan del Sur, Philippines. On the day after he process his picture, he booked and boarded a boat, the only means of trasportation from his municipality to the municipality where he wanted to enroll. It took him four hours in a boat, and four minutes in a tricycle and finally he arrived in the State College. He paid and took the entrance examination and after an hour the result was released. He go to the Education Department as he wanted to become a teacher and he asked the incharge", maam, is this the Department for Education students? the incharge replied, "yes! you want to enroll in this department? He replied, "yes maam, I wanted to become a teacher. May I see the result of your entrance examination? When the incharge looked at the result, she said, ohh! you only got 24 out of 100, and it is considered as not allowed to enroll in education since you have a very low score. Real replied," please hear me ma'am, I am out of school for two years, because of financial problem and I realized that being in a farm is not an easy job, now that there is oppurtunity, I will continue my college. The incharge asked," Why you wanted to become a teacher? Why not other course? I wanted to help learners in their early age that being in a farm, working every day is not easy, I want the children to start dreaming for their future. Well said, may I see your highschool card? Real handed his highschool card and the incharge was amazed because Real has an average of 92% during his third amd fourth year in highschool. The incharge said, wow! there is no reason that second chance will not be given to you. I will help you proceed to the next stage of the enrollment because you have potentials. Real humbly smiled and reply, thank you so much ma'am for the oppurtunity, and he proceeded. On the next stage of enrollment, the incharge asked, "may I see your card? Yes sir, as the incharge looked on his card, he immediately recommended a two courses to Real. He said, " okay, I will enroll you to the Bachelor in Science.of Education Major in Mathematics or you can enroll to the Engineering department, since you have high grades in mathematics subjects. Real replied, "Sir, I want to be enroll with the course of Bachelor in Elementary Education. The incharge was confused amd asked, "May I know why? He replied, "Sir, I wanted to build and enhance the basic foundation of the children in their early age as elementary is considered as basic stage for children, when this stage is honed, therefore, there would be no problem when they encounter the complex part of the basic as they proceed to the secondary school. The incharge said, "Okay! Well said, I will help you enroll in the course you want, but promise me to do what you told me, ENTIENDE? Real replied, Si Señor. Real already enrolled in his chosen course and get his subjects and schedule list. What was more amazing about Real's enrollment process was his courage, he just enroll himself alone, without the help of friend or classmates. He just pray to God with his father before he departed that the his enrollment will be successful and it was an answered prayer. After his enrollment, he walked to find a room to rent to stay. He found a boarding house four hundred meters from the school campus. He found the owner and asked," Sir do you still have a vacant bed spacer to rent? the owner replied," Yes there is, do you want to rent here? Yes sir! okay come and look. They tour to the intire boarding house. and afterwards he asked the owner, sir would you mind, I want to finish my college because of poverty, If you allowed, I will pay you in the end of this month sir, promised. I have money but it is not enough to pay deposite and advance payment for the rent. When the ownere look at the child, he felt mercy and the owner replied, yes sure, not a problem but you must study hardnto achieve you dreams and to help your parents, promise me you must not surrender even yku carry the earth. Real replied with a tears on his eyes, yes sirand thank you so much. It would be a fate or fortune for Real? How he can survive his study? He can't even contact his father for neighther he or his father had a phone. On the next chapter let us witness the struggles that he encountered while studying.
