Darkness that's all he saw nothing but complete darkness. He started to feel slightly cold, "Am I dead" he asked himself. He did not know, he tried to recall his last memory, "Arggg" but all he felt was pain.
It was like his mind was being split open. All he felt was pain and confusion after recovering a bit from the pain he started to started to think more clearly, with his new sense of clarity he started to wonder why he could not remember anything that happened.
Every time he tried or attempted to think about his past he felt nothing but pain. After trying again and again he still couldn't figure out why that was. After failing so many times he tried looking at his body.
"What is happening?" he said, as he lifted his hands in front of his eyes. He looked at them however he instantly realised something was wrong, his hands were translucent.
Removing his eyes from his a hands for a minute, he looked around again but saw the same scene. Just darkness his eyes drifted to ground beneath him. He saw his translucent legs and past that he could see the ground or what seemed like the ground.
He found it hard to tell because it looked no different from the rest of his surroundings. "Am I dead?....honestly I wouldn't even know if I was. If that is indeed the case and I am dead this place doesn't look anything like heaven or hell. Then again know one really knows what happens when you die.
Suddenly when his was deep in thought he saw a bright light in the horizon. "Huh what is that?" He wondered staring at he light with confusion and a little concern.
He started so feel somewhat comforted. He didn't know what it was but the feeling it was giving him was warmth and comfort. He started to feel drawn to it.
Suddenly the glowing light in the distance looked bigger. He wasn't sure if was he was closer to it or did it start expanding. Very soon it started to look like a mini sun.
He could feel it starting to get warmer, and the surroundings was no longer as dark. He didn't know what the light was but he wanted to get closer to it and touch it.
He stretched out his hands as if trying to reach it. He could feel his body slowly drifting towards it. His feet never once touched the ground.
He would of noticed that if he had been in his right state of mind. Soon the light expanded further and he was engulfed by it a long with his surroundings.
.....
When he opened his eyes again they were blurry, he confused by what just happened and wondered if it was a dream. He was taken out of those thoughts when his face felt wet.
He wondered what was going when he felt something wet and hard hit his face again. He heard loud sounds, it sounded like thunder he attempted to open his eyes again hopeing the blurryness would be gone.
When he opened his eyes again, he quickly closed them again when he felt something. He was sure what hit him or where he was or what was going on.
He could feel the rest of his body, so that was a good sign. He silghtly moved his hands to know if he could. He was happy to know he could.
After finding out the results, he moved one of his to his face. It felt wet, his face felt wet. He took some of the watery substance and to his nose but smellt nothing.
He felt it again one, two, three, four and five drops fell on him. He could only think of two things what could cause this situation. He brought his hands to above his eyes and looked at the situation above him.
All he could see as for as the eye could were clouds, grey clouds. Seeing that he was suprised, he could see small rain drops falling from the sky.
He tried to sit up but he couldn't, he felt a throbbing pain in his abdomen. He reached out with one of his hands and touched the area.
When his fingers touched the area it felt warm, as he investigated the area he suddenly felt the pain worson. The quickly removed his hand and saw it was died red.
After bringing it to his nose his suspicious were proven. It was blood, he tried to recall his last memory it was a bit foggy but he was able to recall a few things.
He remembered being shot but although he wasn't sure where his place was he was sure of one thing, it wasn't anywhere near here. He wasn't sure how he got here but was only able to think of two possibilities.
One was he some how walked here by himself and the second was that he was saved by someone but if that was the case and he was saved by someone why was he still injured and by the freshness of the wound he could tell it was reagent.
He had more questions than answers, the first course of action was to close the wound himself unfortunately there was no needle or cotton nearby, so he had to use a crude method.
He reached down with one hand and took a hand full of soil. Luckily it was raining making the soil softer and more muddy. He took a hand full of soil and rubbed it on his wound.
It started feeling aby the wound, it soon turned into a cooling sensation. When he felt ready he slowly got up. He wasn't back to a hundred percent yet. He got up to his feet and started walking into the forest.
