It didn't take long for the Kobalt to stop breathing, drowning. Dying with indignation in it's eyes. He kept using his weight on the creatures head for a few minutes, in order to make sure it was truly dead.
After a few minutes passed and he saw no moment from the creature he let it go. And fell into the water, he was breathing heavy. He felt so tired after it was done.
After his breathing started to calm down and he could think clearly. He looked at the creature laying down in from him, and finally noticed the brown bag tied to the creatures waist.
It was soaked by the water turning the bag a darker brown. He reached out his wright hand and grabbed the soaked bag. Untieing the string closing the bag, and took a look inside.
There were mushrooms and herbs inside.
"It seems like it was it's meal or maybe this was some kind of gathering. Maybe he was gathering food for some think. He looked at the creature again and furrowed his eye brows.
He wasn't sure what that kind of creature was but it seemed like some kind of carnivor. He looked at the claws and teeth again. He stared at the creatures teeth intensly. From what he knew the only reason to have such sharp teeth was to make it easier to chew on flesh.
But he looked at the bag in his hands again.
"Why would such a creature eat these?"
He was wondering, he would not of been so confused if he saw bloody body parts of verous animals and creature in the bag.
"Does that means this creature is an omnivore?"
He looked at the creature again and began to wonder. But he could not think of anything else. That was the only thing that made sense. His stomach rumbled again, and remembered he was still hungry.
During that fight he had momently forgotten about his hunger. If he was better equipmented the fight would have been even easier. His hand dug into the bag, and withdrew a few mushrooms from the bag and stuffed them into his mouth.
He almost completely emptied the bag before he finally stopped. He was somewhat full and just he was about to leave with the bag he stopped.
He looked at the creatures body before looking around the river, he was looking for something sharp. Unfortunately he could not find anything sharp around him. But he was not discourage.
He walked over to the creatures body and picked a rock laying next to the creatures body. Holding the rock tightly, he lifted the rock high in the sky and brought it down fiercely aiming for the creatures open mouth.
The first hit produced a loud "bang" sound but didn't produced much damage. He decided to strike it again, the second hit damage the face and caused the scales around the creatures face to go fying. There was some blood on the rock and on the creatures face. But he ignored it and striked, the creatures face again. The strike caused the creatures face to become a bloody mess.
The strike caused the teeth to become loose, which brought a smile to his face. He reached out a hand and grabbed one of the creatures canines. Because of the constant bashing he was able to pull out the tooth. Once he had the tooth, he dropped the rock back into the water.
He looked at the creatures neck and then it's arm. He was unsure of which one to take with him. After thinking about it for a while he decided to take the arm. He held the tooth tightly and stabbed into the arm again and again causing blood and scales to fly everywhere, he kept on striking the arm until it was only held together to his body by a single bone.
He grabbed the arm and roughley pulled it loose. Once he had the arm he left and rentered the forest. He was walking for a while before stumbling across a hollow tree. Once he entered the tree he could see the sun was setting. There was was not much light left.
With the little time of light he had left, he brought the severed arm in front of his face. He could not start a fire in this place, he only hesitated for a second before taking the tooth from earlier and used it to shabely cut a piece of meat from the severed arm.
