Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Learning

After looking around frantically, he eventually calmed down.

"I don't think there's anyone here, but if magic really does exist then I wouldn't be able to notice them."

The thought that someone brought him here, even if that was true, currently their was nothing he could do about it. He simply decided to put the thought in the back of his mind.

He took the book, the sword and the dagger and decided to leave. He made his way back to the hollow tree. When he got there, he was pleasantly surprised. The woman he found was waking up.

Her eyelids twitched and slowly she opened her eyes. She started at the ceiling for a moment before her eye's thrifted towards the only man in the room.

He was taken aback by her eye's, they were red; blood red. They were like beautiful dark red jems but creepy like pools of blood.

"Who are you?"

He almost didn't hear her question, he was becoming lost in her eye's. It's not that he found her eye's beautiful or anything, he just couldn't think straight while looking at it.

He immediately looked away from her eye's.

"What?"

"I asked you...who the hell are you?"

She asked with more power and had a serious look on her face. She looked at him with concern, she had woken up in strange location with a person she had never seen before.

He put up his hands as he looked at her but avoided the eyes.

"My name is Alexander....I'm a novice hunter."

He did not lie but he also it did not tell the whole truth. The name he gave Alexander was this body's name, I guess his name now but that wasn't always the case.

And calling himself a novice hunter was to make it easier to explain how he found her. Unfortunately if she asked where he came from or where his home was be did not have a answer.

"Where is this?"

He thought about it for a while before answering.

"You can think of it as my hideout."

The woman looked at him with suspicion and asked.

"You said you were a hunter right?"

He noded his head as to confirm what she said.

"I see...so why didn't you take me to your village then?"

His face froze as he tried to think of a reasonable explanation. His mind was working at full power as he tried to think of a reasonable answer. Then it came to him, like light bulbed being turned on.
