As they travel through the woods together they encountered a few Goblins and Silvia left Alex to take care of them.
"Killed a Goblin received 50 exp"
"Killed a Goblin received 50 exp"
"Killed a Goblin received 50 exp"
"Successful hidden in the shadows!"
"Backstab activated!"
"Successfully activated backstab, dealing 12 damage to the target!".
"Grained 50 exp!"
He withdrew the dagger from the last Goblin's back. He had been travelling with Silvia for nearly two days and still haven't found any signs of civilization.
He smelled himself and frowned the last time he remembered having a bath was when he was in his previous body. He had no idea when this body last had a bath.
He did pass a river on his first day here, so he could of had a wash but he didn't how to have a river wash. He walked over to Silvia to her something:
"I need something from you? "
She looked at him with a raised eye brow, as for him to continue.
"I need you to teach me."
She looked at him for awhile before saying:
"Teach you what exactly?"
She asked the question before returning to what she was doing beforehand.
"You know what?...fighting of course."
Alex said while looking at her. He could tell she was avoiding the topic.
She looked up at him again, before saying:
"I can improve your fighting ability but I can't teach you my trump cards or my personal abilities. Is that agreeable?"
He was ecstatic, he was concerned she would say no and he would have to find some other way to train himself. He wasn't very skilled in the art of blades. If it was a knife or dagger, he could use them without any issue.
She stood up and surveyed the area.
"There doesn't seem to be any enemies nearby. When we do find some I teach you the most convenient way to deal with them."
She looked around again before saying:
"We've rested enough we should be going. We don't know when we'll find a town or village. The more ground we cover the better."
She said as she walked ahead into the woods. Alex soon followed.Alex and Silvia walked through the forest for quiet a while before Silivia suddenly stoped.
"Did you hear that?"
Alex was confused at first because he didn't hear anything but suddenly he did. It was a muffled and low growle. It seemed like it came from beast.
Silvia's eye's expanded and she suddenly pushed Alex behind a tree. At first he wanted to complain but stopped when he heard a sound. He turned his head slightly and took a peek from behind the tree.
What he saw shocked him, it was large and had dark brown fur covering it whole body. It had a shaped face and long claws.
"A bear?"
Alex was shocked because he never thought he would see a familiar creature in this world. That shock turned into concern, although they where hidden if memory serves him right they track their prey through smell.
The creature may not be able to see them but it would definitely be able to smell them. When that happens it doesn't matter how good you at hiding it will find you.
He looked at her and wondered if she had a way of dealing with the creature. But he was bound to be disappointed. She sook her head and said:
"If I was by myself I could deal with bear without much problem. But right now with you here it might be a problem."
Alex continued to stared at her and said:
"I'm touched that you want to protect me but if we don't deal with it. Non of us is leaving here alive."
Suddenly there was moving from the bear, it turned in their direction and growled. Alex could feel cold sweat running down his neck when he heard the growle.
He turned his head back to peek at the bear and saw it look right back at him. There was actual fear in his eyes. Even in his old world he never dared to fight a bear upfront.
