He was frightened for a second before he thought of something, earlier when he killed those Goblins he got experience points for that.
If the same rules apply here that means whatever I kill I should get experience points for it and if that's the case then if I kill this bear I should get some experience points for it.
When that thought popped in his head it grew and didn't stop. But the problem was he didn't have any way of dealing with the creature. Suddenly he had a different thought and he turned his to look at Silvia.
She had a serious look on her face but he chose to ignore it and asked:
"Can you keep it distracted?"
She turned to look at him and tilted her head as ask him to elaborate. He stared at her and said:
"I want to test something."
He didn't want to elaborate further. She noded as if understanding something and then walked out into the open.
He bear's eye's turned red with anger and charged at Silvia. Alex saw this and moved in the opposite direction of those two. He rolled out the way and withdrew the bow he had slung on his back and took out an arrow.
He drew the bow string and aimed for it's head before he released it. The arrow flew through the air and hit the creature on the face. Unfortunately the blow didn't kill it, it just seemed to anger it. It turned it head in the direction of the shot only to met with another shot.
This shot aimed for the middle of the bear's forehead. The arrow was lodged in the bear's skull and it fell down.
"Target eliminated!"

He hesitated for a moment, he wasn't sure if he should agree or not. He wasn't knowledgeable about classes. So he looked over at Silvia, who was standing over the corspse of the brown bear. Alex took a breath and asked her about the Ranger class.
She was a little confused as why he would ask such a question out of the blue. He didn't want to explain and simply said he was curious. After waiting awhile she explained:
"Rangers are conceded warriors of the wild, they are at their strongest when facing moster."
She gave him the basic understanding of the class.
He looked at the prompt again and thought about it for awhile. After hesitating for awhile he chose to agree.
