He looked at her for a moment, before coming to a decision. He picked her up and carried her in his arms. He walked back to his tree, it took longer than he originally thought.
Once back he entered the tree and layed the woman down. He did a quick search and found a leather bag with some rations. The ration bag had some dried meat in it.
He went back too search her again and found a leather water-pouch by her waist. He took a few pieces of dried meat and put it in his mouth, he also drank some of the water.
After he drank the water, he opened the womans mouth and poured some of the water. He slapped the woman on her cheek in an attempt to wake her up but it didn't seem to work.
Seeing no response from his actions he couldn't think of any other way to wake her. He had so many questions he wanted to ask her. He looked at rations again and realised that it wouldn't last much longer.
He looked for the sheade dagger by her waist, he felt it earlier when he searched her. He took it and took out the dagger and looked at it intently. He resheaded it again and held it in his right hand.
"I'll return this again."
He said, as he stood up and left the tree. He was looking for something to hunt. He realised that if he had to hunt, he would have to look for prey elsewhere.
He started walking forward for a while before he found something. He saw a skeleton pinned to a tree by a long elegant spear. The skeleton looked thinner and taller than a human.
He walked closer to the spear and could see it more clearly. It seemed like the spear was made of silver and he could see it was here for quiet a long time. He touched it and tried to pull it out of the tree but it did not budge.
It seemed to be stuck in the tree, he looked at the spear with annoyance. No matter how hard he pulled the spear it did not budge an inch. After letting go of the spear; he looked at the spear again and looked at it with a thought.
Although he couldn't do anything about the spear, he still looked at it with interest.
"Why would someone use such a weapon to pin someone else?"
He looked at the skeleton and then at the spear again. He had a strange glint in his eyes. He used the dagger to cut a cross on the tree. He planned to do that on ever tree he passed.
He may not be able to take the spear now but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to do so in the future, he turned and left.
