Alex resteded for a bit, he was no longer injured. He was still rapping his head around magic. As he sat there thinking while resting, there were so many things he was still confused about.
After feeling a bit more enigetic the stood back up. Alex looked over the battlefield, and something was bothering him. He looked over at the body of the crimson kobold. No matter how he thought about it, he still couldn't figure out why the creature didn't die when he struck it the first time.
Alex went over to it, when he got to the body of the creature. He kneeled by it's side and examined it and saw nothing at all. He looked over to were the injury was, it was normal not even a scar was left.
Alex took out his dagger and made a incision on the kobold's chest and cut diagonally. It was easy given the sharpness of the blade. Once the incisions were made blood could be seen flowing out of them.
Once the blood flow slowed down Alex reached under the wound of the kobold and ripped it open. Alex could see various types of organs, it seemed similar to a human's internal system.
Back there was one difference he couldn't see a heart anywhere. "That's not right," Alex thought. Seeing that that he savagely ripped out the left side of the creative's chest.
It didn't take him long to find the still heart, "So it's heart was on the right side then. I never thought I would see this here. This makes dealing with the people and creature's of this world will be more troublesome, I guess the only way to make sure anyone is truly dead is to behead them."
Alex looked at the dagger in his hand, it was stained with blood. He looked back at the kobold's headless corpse,"This is not normal." he thought. It wasn't the killing that he found disturbing it was what he was killing that troubled him.
He had been keeping his heart calmed all this time, but he couldn't no longer. He hadn't truly committed to the world. He hadn't yet become accustomed to this place.
He could feeling his hand slightly tremble, he realised that he should leave soon. Staying here any longer would prove troublesome. Alex stood up and looked at the area again.
"So where is it?" he thought. Alex was trying to find the so called treasure. It all seemed normal to him. After seeing the scene he decided to leave.
He couldn't look all over the place and he didn't even have a clue as to where to start. After thinking more clearly he realised he didn't know where he was.
He looked around but he couldn't figure out where he came from and which direction he should go. Alex knew he should of made a mark or a sign before entering combat.
He stood still for the next 10 minutes before doing something. "I can't stand here in the middle of nowhere," he looked around again somewhat instictualy. After not coming up with anything, he simply chose a random direction and walked in that direction.
Alex walked the same direction for an untold amount of time. He felt somewhat humiliated, he should of studied his area before coming here but wrapped up in usual fantasy trope.
None of his seemed real until now, he suddenly stopped when he saw something blocking his view. Alex looked up and saw what was blocking him, it was a mountain.
It was a large grey mountain with green moss. Alex looked to his sides and could not see the end of it. He could not see how big the mountain was but he could tell it was quite large.
Since he couldn't go through it his only chose one of the sides but he didn't know which side he should take. After standing there for some time he decided to go right.
Alex didn't have a reason for doing so, it might be an instinctual think or right was his lucky direction. He continued walking until he saw something peculiar.
Alex walked a bit faster and soon appeared right in front of it. "A cave!" Alex said with suprised. There was a cave in the middle of the mountain it seemed like it was naturally formed.
He very slowly walked inside it, it felt cold and was dark. The darkness would completely block his sieghts if it wasn't for his Darkvision.
Alex had never been so thankful to have such an ability. As he was thinking about his abilities he suddenly stopped. When he looked forward, far in the distance he could see a golden brilliance.
Alex had an idea of what it was but he couldn't be sure. He walked towards the gold light, it didn't take him long to reach his destination. Once he reached it he could see what it was.
"Gold," Alex said as looked below him. He could see gold coins and what seemed like gold nuggets. Alex bent down and counted the items.
He could see 100 gold coins and 7 gold nuggets. He was slightly disappointed, he was hoping it would be of been more. But that feeling quickly pasted when he realised that he was lucky.
He quickly gathered the items and left, Alex spent quite awhile navigating through he woods until he found something. It was another cave but this one was different.
Although he couldn't put finger on It, the cave felt somewhat different. It felt colder but this cold was different, it felt like it was invading his body and it felt like visiting a graveyard on the middle of the night.
Noticing the strangeness of this place, he looked at his surroundings but nothing and that cornered him. It was quiet, far too quiet he could not hear any sound what so ever.
Alex tried to look deeper into the cave but unfortunately he could not see anything, which he found to be unusual with his Darkvision he should of been able to see something but all he saw was darkness.
He stepped closer to get a better look but when he did his instincts where warning him to leave. He always trusted his instincts but a part of him could not see what the danger was and wanted to have a look inside.
Luckily he ignored that side of him and took out his dagger. He walked to nearest tree and made a mark on it, although he shut of the part of him that was curious it didn't mean he had no interest in the place.
As he made his way away from the cave, he made a mark on a few of the trees he went pass. Finely he made his way out of the forest and saw the gate's of Whiterun again.
Once he entered the city it didn't take him long to get to the adventures guild. Once he entered he walked up to the counter and handed in his prove. Once he exited the guild he had a pouch full of money, " So I got 50 gold coins for completing that mission and another 100 on the mission." He reached into his pocked and produced 7 gold nuggets.
"So I wonder how much I can exchange these for? Alex thought "I should of asked them." He said as he looked back at the building he just exited.
After giving it some thought he decided to leave, he walked back to the inn when Silvia saw him she seemed suprised. "So Rank 2 huh?" When Alex heard that he was suprised, the first time he simply a guess or a trick but for her guess a second time.
He had so many thoughts were running though his head for a moment until he suddenly remembered something, Silvia would be leaving in two days. "I need to make the most of it whole I can."
