Chereads / Moon Lovers: Craving For My Fake Vampire Mate / Chapter 18 - Etiquette Classes

Chapter 18 - Etiquette Classes

Lenora stood in the middle of everyone. She raised her glass of blood mixed with the vampire wine and made a toast to everyone. As she stood in the middle of the hall, she looked beautiful.

Lenora wore a polyester Victorian red ruffle flare dress. It has a black net attached from the neckline to the vintage dress. She looked like a queen in that dress, if only that dress had a cape then she would look like a real empress.

Under the golden light, her dress reflected back and shined reminding everyone she was the star of the show. And her dress was graced with a dip in front of her neck which revealed her collar bones to the onlookers. The black net and the red polyester clothes were adorned with a gold lace designed with a bunch of five unbloomed flowers. She had tied her hair into a high bun. Grazing her ears were red toppings. Her red and black dress complimented her jade-like skin making her look like a goddess.

Lenora danced with the king and then the former king. She danced with a few other nobles before she retired for the day. Celine helped her take off her make-up and clothes. Changing herself into a comfortable set, she slept. She woke up in the afternoon. As a vampire, her afternoon was equal to midnight for a human. So, feeling like she had nothing to do, she slept again.

When she woke up, it was twilight. Lenora woke up and took a bath, then had her breakfast. After that, she was notified that she had to dress up and go to the northeast wing which was the sunlight wing. That wing was used for study purposes. Lenora was confused for a bit.

"My Lady, those are etiquette classes," Celia clarified.

Lenora nodded her head. She followed Celia and went to learn.

There were only fifteen days until her wedding. And, five days before the wedding, they would have to start their journey to the werewolf kingdom to meet her groom and her brother's bride.

Lenora wasn't at all curious about her groom. Because she knew that it would just be another cage for her. Maybe she could be happy that she wouldn't be living with Vampires anymore and live in fear that one day maybe they will find out about her beating her. On the day of the coronation, she was terrified that everyone would discover her secret—her beating heart. But for some reason, only Emperor Azazel Laroch had heard it apart from others. She wondered what was so special about that dead person.

"My Lady," Celia called out.

"Yes?" Lenora responded.

"We should start going," Celia said, to which Lenora nodded.

Lenora knew what the Queen's mother was thinking. She was reminding her just because Emperor Azazel Laroch praised her, she shouldn't let it go to her head. Eudora was indirectly reminding her despite the praises she received, that she was still a stripped princess who needed to know her place. And no matter how impressive she was, she still needed to perform her duty as the princess; along with the risks she had to take.

Lenora smiled at Eudora's indirect warning. It didn't matter to her as she had no wish to stay in the Vampire Kingdom anymore. With a simmering smile, she walked ahead.

It was already sunrise and Lenora was already feeling sleepy from the boring Etiquette classes.

Her teacher was enraged to learn that she had to teach a princess who had (allegedly at least to Lenora) committed a crime against the throne in the past. But after seeing Lenora's etiquette, she was surprised. The teacher said nothing. They were the rules of the palace and she needed to follow them; Lenora was no less. Lenora performed well. If it was someone else they would have taken at least fifteen days to finish the things she taught. But Lenora did them in a single day. The teacher had to grudgingly admit that Lenora already knew everything, maybe even more. And a point to be noted, she was raised by the previous Queen Eudora. She knew everything.
