it had being a total of four days since he had asked her out and now he was no where to be found,was he already regretting his actions...
did he not want her anymore...,after that night he didn't text her or message her telling her where he was or if he was safe.
Her gut feeling kept on telling her something was wrong but she didn't want to accept it and just thought he didn't want to talk to her,in those four days she tried messaging him and calling him but it was still the same voice and same sentence "the number you are trying to call is unavailable".
She was worried sick but didn't know where to start looking for him,for starter...she had no idea where he stayed or if he had any close friends around the area,that day school close after a long time and she just wanted to go home.
On her way she was a abruptly stopped by someone causing her to be startled.
What is it?,she asked calmly touching her poor heart.
I just wanted to see how you were,you didn't seem alright since this morning,are you okay?,he asked though he knew she would not answer he still wanted to try his luck.
It's.. nothing am fine,she replied calmly shocking him,he decided to try talking to her about their previous matter now that she was calmly speaking to him.
I wanted to say sorry about that day,he said and didn't seem to get what he was saying,but she soon understand and sighed inwardly.
Can you just cut it..it's okay I know you like someone else and there is nothing I can do...I don't blame you maybe I was never the right choice for you,she said still keeping her cool.
Initially he brought up the conversation to try and persuade her to get back together with him,though he really did cheat on her with different girls..,none of them were able to capture his heart like she did and he loved her for that,she had a cool and interesting personality,but now his hopes were shattered as she thought he just wanted to say sorry to hear not knowing his real intentions,he was happy at least that she talked to him and hoped for them to start afresh.
So..um.can..we.be friends,he asked stammering and she looked up and with for a while making his heart beat rapidly in his chest,she looked at him for a while before nodding her head making him suddenly smile.
Thank you,he said and she tried to smile in her damp mood making the smile weird in her face.
She didn't want to talk anymore and excused herself to go home,her mom came to pick her and she couldn't help telling her mom all that happened,she couldn't process everything at once and looked shocked.
So you mean you and Fred broke up,her mom asked and she nodded as she cried.
And Ayden asked you out but didn't show up,call you or text you athis week,she continued and Alexa nodded again wiping her tears,her mom stopped the car on the side of the road to console her.
Baby..you could have told me you broke up with Fred,she said as she wiped the tears on her daughters face.
I thought you would be mad because the gala was important for you,Alexa said matter of fact.
Yeah it was but after knowing that your boyfriend cheated on you and you still forced yourself to be with him just so I could be happy..really means a lot der,her mom said to her.

I am proud of you dear,thanks for always keeping me happy,she said and hugged Alexa,the car was cozy and warm as the mother_daughter pair shared a hug.
And as for Ayden,I am sure to break his leg if I see him,her mom joked making her laugh.

She went back home and went straight to her room,she changed out of her school uniform and laid on her bed as she thought back about when Ayden asked her out...
Was I at the wrong,he asked me but I didn't reply was that why he didn't text me?...,she thought while staring at the ceiling.
