They soon reached the middle of the forest when Ayden sensed something wrong,he could smell blood and looked around for a trace of any injured animal as the smell wasn't of a vampire blood neither was it human,he soon saw the blood trials on the ground and though it looked dry he still could smell it,they were black blood and it wasn't that of a vampire,he followed the trails and the guards followed behind him.
the blood left a trail which they followed and lead to a cave,he didn't hesitate before entering the cave,soon swords clashing were heard.
Unknown to them,the pack of wild animals were in and they weren't normal animals,their blood was mixed with a kind of poison so whom ever got bitten was inevitably infected and can cause death,they were in a pack and we're violently clashed them as they fought.
They entered the cave a total number of seven but came out three and we're mostly wounded,Ayden was not an exception as he was also wounded and they decided to look for shelter to rest and treat their injuries.
The remaining two guards tended their wounds and didn't bother checking on the prince as to them he wasn't a part of the royal family,so Ayden tended his wounds himself as he was washing the blood away from his body,he felt a sharp pain in his left leg,he took a look and discovered it was a bite mark...meaning he was beaten by one of the wild animals, if it were a human who were bitten it would have being disastrous but he was a half blooded vampire so it didn't hurt as much but it was extremely painful.
He tried to manage it till the went back to the palace as they was nothing to use and treat the bite mark neither was there a cure for the poison so he didn't pay much attention to it,but in two days time it was taking effect,he felt dizzy and lightheaded,his vision was blurry but he seemed stronger and only wanted to feel blood,his eye color would occasionally turn red and his fangs will elongate,he couldn't take it anymore and killed the remaining guards that were supposed to help him,after killing them he felt relief as his hands were tainted with blood and it calmed him for the meantime and his eye color changed normal and he remembered he hadn't finished his mission,though he was alone he still went in search of his brother.
two more days went by before he finally found the prince surrounded by wild animals but weirdly he wasn't bitten or harmed,he wasn't sane and couldn't think at that point,when he saw so much animal and smelled their blood,his mind was immediately clouded and all he could think of was killing them,all he wanted was the blood of the wild animal,his claws grew and his teeth grew sharper as he killed the pack of animals swiftly,he didn't waste time on killing the animals as the poison made him stronger so he finished them off easily,and before he could look back..his brother was no longer there.
He felt weak and had no strength making him go back to normal..he looked up once and saw someone with his blurry vision before he fell unconscious,he collapsed on the ground and when he woke up,he only saw his allies but at that moment he didn't care as the poison effect was much worse than before and now he had no idea who was who and just wanted to satisfy his hunger and the urge to kill someone,he wanted so much to sink his teeth into their neck and drain them completely of their blood,but each time he tried to move he couldn't....
He was poisoned,the herbs we gave him seems to have no effect,one of his allies said.
It's from the mysterious creature and there is no cure for it,how shall we help the prince then,he also seems hungry,another said.
we could seek help from the prince betrothed,the first one said again.
Do you want to get killed by the prince when he recovers,he strictly warned us not to inform her if anything happened to him,the other said.
But what else can we do?,they asked themselves.
As they were talking to themselves a woman I hood came up to them and said"the prince is half witch and the poison don't affect witches,it will take a few days to wear off,the woman in hood said.
And who are you?,they asked ready to fight.
Someone who can help you?,she replied not giving them much,she walked closer to the prince and murmured something under her breath making him falk asleep and limp.
He would be in a lot of pain if he doesn't bite someone ,you have two options:he can either suffer till it's gone or get him the blood of his betrothed,she said once more before vanishing into thin air.
They thought about what she said but didn't want to trust a strange woman who just walked in and said some things.
Should we consider calling her...?

Meanwhile in the human realm,Alexa seemed worried as she was in a class but seemed lost.
a question was thrown at her but she didn't hear the question neither did she answer,making everyone look at her.
Alexa,the teacher kept on calling but she didn't reply as she stared dazed outside.
Alexa,Fred tapped her and she was immediately brought back to the present.
What's wrong?,he asked worriedly but she didn't give an answer till she was called by the teacher.
You don't seem to be alright,are you feeling okay?,the teacher asked and she nodded before class continued.
