Alora was suddenly smacked on the head abruptly and she immediately woke up from her sleep.
"What the-? Who?" Alora looked around in confusion as she gulped and slowly started coming back to her senses.
"You idiot. Stop sleeping so much in class or you're really going to lose that scholarship of yours," Daren sighed as he spoke, scolding the girl.
Alora looked at Daren in disbelief and she could hear nothing that the boy had said.
"Where am I?" Alora asked as she looked around in confusion.
Daren pursed his lips into a thin line and felt the urge to smack the girl's head once again as he heard this.
"Why don't you look around and take a guess, Einstein?" Daren clicked his tongue as he responded.
"Uh... Class...?" Alora's eyebrows creased together as she muttered in confusion.
"Great. At least, you can still recognize your surroundings," Daren sarcastically commented before sighing, "You should really get rid of this habit of yours."
Alora frowned as she heard this and spoke, changing the topic, "Daren, I went there again."
"Hmm? Where?" Daren asked as he felt a little confused.
"That place," Alora muttered as she spoke with a tone that made it almost seem as if even she found it a bit hard to say, "To Hell."
"..." Daren pursed his lips into a thin line and looked at the girl with an unimpressed expression as he heard this.
"I'm not joking!" Alora exclaimed as she tried to make the boy believe in her story, "I fell asleep and went there again. But this time, there were these three succubus demons that were trying to roast me like a pig."
Daren scoffed and commented playfully, "At least they could recognize a pig when they saw one."
"..." Alora immediately stepped on Daren's toe as a response to his comment.
"Ouch!~"
"I'll stab you with a pencil if you don't take me seriously," Alora warned and Daren would certainly be lying if he said that he wasn't a bit intimidated by this threat.
"So you went there again?" Daren coughed as he asked with an expression that made him look serious and professional.
Alora bobbed her head up and down as she confirmed this, "I did."
"If I'm not wrong, this has never happened before, has it?" Daren asked without missing a beat and Alora once again nodded her head.
"I only go there when I'm at home. So this is the first time that I was able to get there during class!"
"Hmm," Daren hummed as he took a few minutes to seriously think about it before he responded, "This is getting dangerous."
"Eh?"
"It seems that hell is constantly dragging you back there," Daren sighed as he folded his arms and spoke, "If this keeps on happening, maybe in the future, you won't be able to return to this world and when that happens, you'll really become a person that belongs to the other world."
Alora's eyes widened as she heard this and the girl looked to be a bit terrified by these words.
"Y-you mean to say that... I'll be t-trapped in there for the rest of my life...?! I'll become a ghost?!" Alora stuttered as she anxiously questioned.
"Not exactly," Daren responded as he scratched the back of his neck, "It's more like you'd be unable to wake up. You've seen movies where one character just falls into a coma and wakes up in another world, haven't you?"
Alora bobbed her head up and down enthusiastically as she confirmed this.
"You'll end up like that character," Daren spoke with a wicked smile as he tried his best to scare the girl.
Alora gulped with worry and her eyes widened ever so slightly as she heard this, but she didn't dare say anything to that.
Daren felt a little amused as he saw the girl's reaction and he couldn't help but want to tease her a bit more.
"You often talk about those burnt creatures, don't you? The souls that are forever trapped there? They keep on burning no matter what. They try to crawl to safety but it is of no use. The fire that consumes them doesn't let them die and even when they want to die, they are forced to stay alive and undergo that torture of being burned alive every single day. In the beginning, each day is like a torment to them, but then as time passes, they get used to the pain. They become miserable and just want to end everything but even that is not something that they can control."
"They might get used to the pain but it never decreases," Daren added as he continued with a dry chuckle, "If you get too attached to that place, you might also become one like them. You might get to spend the rest of your life in there, never to escape. Never to see the warm sun and never to play the favorite video games that you enjoy."
That latter part was like a shot right to Alora's head and it was much more threatening than anything else that the boy had said.
Daren clicked his tongue with a sigh as he spoke, "This is why I keep warning you about this. You have to stop your obsession with this weird dream. Get some therapy before it's too late."
"..." Before the boy had said this, Alora really thought he was being serious about this situation, but now, she finally got to know that this boy deserved to get kicked by her for wasting her time and trying to scare her.
"You little piece of sh*t!" Alora cursed at the boy as she tried to hit him on his head with her bag.
"Yo~ I was only kidding~" Daren chuckled as he tried to block the playful attack.
"Do you think this is a joke??" Alora kicked him and Daren immediately took to his feet as he ran away from the place.
"Stop right there! Let me kick your ass to hell so that you can laugh to your heart's content!" Alora threatened and warned as she ran after the boy.
"Hahaha..."
