Mari walked forward towards Alora with a smile and Alora frowned as she unconsciously tried to step back in fear.
"You chose the right option," Mari assured as she patted Alora's shoulder and Alora didn't seem to be agreeing with her on this.
"Hmm," Alora simply hummed as she looked at the three women.
"Now~ Now~" Dorothy clapped her hands together as she enthusiastically spoke, "We have no more time to waste!~ Let's go and get you ready."
Alora's eyebrows creased together and she looked to be rather concerned as she heard this.
"Ready for what...?" Alora asked hesitantly as she looked at the three women.
"You'll eventually come to know," Beth smiled as she spoke and Alora once again felt as if she should be running away from here.
Somehow, Alora was much more scared of these female demons than she was of Carmen who was considered to be even stronger than these three combined. Hence proving that her sense of fear was clearly a bit messed up.
Alora took a step back and the three demons moved closer to her together before grabbing her and picking her up easily.
Alora was sure that she was not that light but these people made it seem as if she was as light as a feather and Alora didn't know if she was supposed to be happy about this or not.
Alora opened her mouth to say something but before the words could roll out of her tongue, her eyes caught a glimpse of the house that was waiting for them in front.
Her eyes immediately widened in surprise and the words she was about to say got gulped back down.
It was a castle... At least, that was what it looked like.
Dorothy and Beth were helping carry Alora while Mari was walking in front of them in order to open the door.
The door was not fancy and this made Alora believe that these three were probably not the owners of this castle.
Perhaps they were just workers here and that would perfectly explain why they had to use such a small door to get in from the side of the castle and not the main entrance gate.
Alora gulped as she saw her guesses coming true.
She felt like she was seeing a small maid's quarter that looked to be located in one of the deeper corners of the castle.
Alora pursed her lips together as she looked around and both her interest and suspicion only grew as she did.
"We are here!" Mari announced as she smiled happily and gestured over to one of the beds, "This would be your bed from now on. You are going to live here."
"Eh...?" Alora blinked in surprise as she heard this and repeated the woman's words through her head in order to make sure whether she had heard it right or not.
She already had a pretty comfortable bed back at home and she was definitely not planning on sleeping between these three psychotic demons...
However, before Alora could even digest this information and refuse the offer, she was suddenly dropped by Beth and Dorothy.
"No time to waste~ No time to waste~" Dorothy sang happily as she hopped towards the closet.
"Ouch!~" Alora rubbed her butt as she looked at the three women in disbelief, "At least, give me a warning before you drop me like that."
What came as a response to this was a flying maid's uniform that slapped her right on the face.
Alora, "..."
Dorothy giggled as she immediately apologized without looking the part, "Sorry~"
Alora pursed her lips into a thin line and threw the clothes down to the floor as she crossed her legs and sat down comfortably, "Is nobody going to tell me what's happening?"
Mari frowned, "Don't be so impatient. You'll know everything soon enough."
Alora was now getting a little annoyed with this so she folded her hands as she shook her head and firmly spoke, "I'm not working with you if you keep being like this."
The three female demons immediately stopped doing whatever it was that they were doing and turned to look at Alora with the same indecipherable expression plastered on their face.
'Didn't you already agree?" Beth tilted her head as she asked without any emotions.
Alora gulped as she leaned her head slightly back, "Um... I did, but... Don't I have the right to cancel my words...?"
"Of course, not," The three chuckled as they spoke in unison and Alora was forced to immediately shut her mouth up.
"How can you go back on your own words?" Dorothy asked almost teasingly, "As a demon, don't you have your dignity to uphold?"
Alora nodded her head as she readily agreed with the woman and spoke in a single breath like a robot, "You are absolutely right. I was only joking. There is no way I'll go back on my word. Hahaha... Ha..."
She couldn't simply reveal the fact that she was not a demon, so instead, she decided to go along with whatever they said.
"You were joking?" Beth asked with a frown and the three were looking directly at Alora with their scary expressions which made Alora feel a bit too intimidated.
"Um... Yeah," Alora gulped with worry as she confirmed it and in the very next moment, the three women broke out laughing.
"So you were just joking. Hahaha..." Dorothy commented in between her laughing and it finally started to dawn on Alora that this was really a bad idea.
Actually, calling it a bad idea would certainly be a bit of an understatement. It was not just a bad idea, it was an extremely dangerous one as well.
Alora's lips curled up into an awkward smile as she looked at the three and came to terms with the fact that she could not run away from this deal anymore.
She was now a puppet and these three were going to be the puppeteers that control her every move.
"I look forward to working with you," Alora lied through her genuine-looking smile.
