Aether was a casual child with very dark blue hair and dark blue eyes, or so he thought.
When he was seven he woke up in a bed without any memories or anything he could remember. it turned out he was an orphan and was adopted by his curent family.
A month later he started going to school. His IQ scored above 170 he was as strong as an average adult human and was considered genius in all the posible ways.
When he was twelve he realised by himself that he had a lot tougher skin, tougher bones. At that point he knew he wasn't normal but when he asked his parents they told him they didn't know anything and looked surprised. After some thinking he stopped at the thought that his parents were hiding something but he did not bother them anymore.
That morning Aether turned 16. He casually woke up, went to the bathroom and looked at the mirror.
At that time he was most girls' dream boy. He had a chiseled face and body, around 180cm tall
After taking a shower he was dry as water didn't stick to his skin and hair. His hair was so tough when he tried cutting his hair a few years ago the scissors broke.
Now he looked at the mirror again and saw some vibrant blue spots on his forehead.
He lifted up his hair and saw two blue, sharp bumps sticking out a few centimeters above his eyes
He had horns.
'Why?' was the only thing he thought of.
'Hello Aether' An 'Anime girl' voice sounded in his head
'Hi?' Aether said back
'Uhm. I thought there would be more of a surprise hearing me' the thing in his head said
'Well you know... I woke up, found out I have horns, which is a little more surprising then you, so don't expect to be more special'
'Well I guess that makes sence... Anyways, I am your companion from now on since your brain is capable enough to handle me, and you probably want some explanations' She was clearly disapointed in herself
'Oh... Ok' Aether said with an indiffrent tone
The voice coughed 'Ehem!.. My name is Stellaria or Stella if you prefer'
'Sure...'
'Well you seem unimpressed'
'...' Aether mind was almost blank as he stared at the mirror with a blank face
Climbing down the stairs he thought about what really happened in his rather short life so far
As he went into the living room his parents and younger siblings shouted
"Happy birthday, Aether!"
Still thinking about everything he didn't even notice all the fuss and confetti around.
"Are you ok?" Abigail (younger sister) asked
"What's for breakfast mom?" Aether asked
Mother of the family, Jane was a beautiful woman for her age, as she was in her mid thirties she had yellowish brown eyes and short brown hair, with the ends of her hair bright yellow. She had a nice figure with slightly tanned skin.
Aether's father, Charlie was a rather tall man with a chiseled muscular body, his hair was black short military cut and a short beard, his eyes were deep green and almost looked sparkly.
"Magic academy Aether!" She shouted
"Oh.. Ok..." Just as realisation came in "W-why are you all here? And why is there confetti on the floor? And what do you mean by magic academy?" He asked quickly
"Mommy... Did big brother forgot he has a birthday today?" Luke (youngest child) asked
"You will go attend magic academy with other kids of your age now."
"Mhm..."
The same day Aether got ready to go out into the world
**At a teleport station**
As Aether drove towards the teleporter station he could not do anything but hold his breath looking at the massive crystals and islands floating all around
Aether slowly walked up to one seeing a bunch of teenagers of his age
Once it was ready to teleport all the people on the platform beggun to dissapear
Suddenly a bright light shone in his eyes and as suddenly as it appeared it also as suddenly disappeared
As his eyes were adjusting to the quite dark sky he thought 'Well this place is probably on the other side of the planet if it is so dark'
The place he was in was a large yard directly in front of a huge and very grand looking building with marble walls, huge windows with criss-cross bars and large dark red wood doors with dark yet shinny metal formed into reinforcements and door handles
'Oh, it's black silver' Stella was quite impressed 'It's very expensive so i didn't think we would see it here'
'Is it just decorational or does it have a further purpose' Aether asked
'Nice thinking! Well it's really strong and malleable, so its used for high grade light weapons and armor'
Aether looked up to the sky and saw eagles, dragons and other huge beasts flying and carrying the rich and the nobility
The people around him looked as surprised as he was exept Aether had an indiffrent expression
Walking towards the door he received a lot of diffrent gazes which he gave no mind to
"Good morning" A girl in her late twenties called out "Do you want to apply here?"
"No, I have the aplication form already. I was just told I needed to take a test to measure my strength" He quickly answered
"Oh, okay please follow me" The woman seemed very polite
Aether followed the woman and stood on a small black platform that stood out on the red floor
The woman pressed a button and the platform started floating up
