After multiple days of training and item forging Aether had increased his mana reserve by a half of what it was already
Aether was curently making multiple rings with the same function but diffrent tiers while Leah was staring at him, trying to figure out what Aether will make with the components he was using
"What are you making?" Leah got impatient
"A ring that should change my powers a little" Aether murmured "Basically a ring that will help me train"
Each of the rings looked rather weird, each of them looked like someone just cut it out of paper
But even then the rings were tough as hell because of Aether' newmade spell that extracts certain materials out of other materials such as extracting copper out of bronze
To be precise Aether extracted something called draconium out of dragon scales
Draconium was the metal that made dragon scales so tough and magic resistant
Of course nobody knew why would Aether make a ring used for training out of draconium
Just as Aether finished making the rings he immediatelly put them on and breathed seemingly out of... Relief?
After comming back to the dormatory room Aether fell on his back and breathed heavily
Leah looked at Aether with a concerned look on her face and asked Aether "Did you catch a cold or something?"
"I have never been sick in my whole life"
Aether exclaimed "It's because of the rings that I am not used to" Aether sighed "You will now have some chance to win against me"
Leah looked at Aether with starry eyes "Really?!"
"Yeah... I think" Aether unsucsessfully tried to encourage Leah "We can try it out"
Leah was overjoyed since it was the first time she would have the chance to beat Aether
**A month later**
"Now that I have returned to my former strength, I can probably start doing something more efficient in terms of training" Aether was thinking of ways to train Leah and himself more efficiently
Over the course of the month Aether has read many books from the academy library and found out more about the history of strong people, their training methods, spells, magic items, and other things they did or use
And honestly speaking Aether could admit that most of the things the people did were pretty lame since most of them relied on their body strength or items and there was almost nobody that made any significant breaktroughs
Aether also read books about the curent living and extinct races such as elves, dwarves, giants, undead as most of the races were former humans and could freely live with normal humans
The way the race evolution thing worked is people that were interested in blacksmithing or woodworking in the ancient times turned into dwarves, people that hunted with bows and lived in nature turned into elves
Aether accumulated as much knowledge as possible in this curent period of time for a single reason - he was going to set out on his journey
Aether was getting busy too in the past week and Aether often saw her diligently training or studying
Aether was not sure of the reason of this behaviour but his main explanation was that she was trying to catch up to Aether
As Aether was packing up his belongings Leah opened the room door
"So you're really leaving?" Leah looked as if she was about to cry
"Yes, I'm sorry" Aether didn't want Leah to be sad
"But why?" Leah was trying to persuade Aether to change his mind but to no avail
"There's nothing for me to gain from this place anymore" Aether looked at Leah
"Oh... I guess it makes sence"
Aether then stood up and went to the principal's office while Leah stayed in the room
Slowly walking towards the principal's office while enjoying the things around him Aether activated a spell and sped up his perception of time
As time seemed to slow down around him Aether looked at the things happening around him
A boy running down the corridor
A girl confessing her love to another girl
A few muscular students outside playing rugby
'It's really calm and peaceful isn't it?' Stel spoke suddenly
'Yeah, it is... I'm gonna miss it'
Just as the effects of the spell stopped Aether turned his head to a door that had a name written on it 'Principal Marugari'
Aether knocked on the door and a few seconds later the door opened up
At the end of the office room the principal was sitting on a fancy looking chair that people in the ancient times would call a 'gaming chair' not that anyone knew what gaming acctually was
"What business do you have with me?"
Mr. Marugari asked and turned around in the chair
The teacher was a huge bulky man of the giant race
The biggest pain of being of the giant race was having to constantly use size reducing spells and the giants all said it was really uncomfortable using it and it felt ichy when resized to original size
"I am planning to quit this accademy sir"
Aether didn't beat around the bush
"Do you have an aproval of your guardians" The principal asked
"My guardians have alowed me to do anything I want as long as it doesn't harm the country or the people living in it"
"Do you have the papers?"
Aether snapped his fingers and a small portal opened. Aether then extended his hand into the portal and pulled some papers out of it
The principal's pupils shrunk for a second and then instantly returned to normal
Aether then gave the papers to the principal and stepped back
"Shall I write the document now or later?" After reading the papers Aether gave him the teacher handed them back and asked
"I would prefer it to be done as soon as possible" Aether said
"As you wish"
"Ahh... I almost forgot"
