After getting Aether's things patented they immediatelly walked out of the agency
"Well, we're done with this place" Aether said and made another gateway "Let's go"
"Uhm..." Leah seemed disappointed while walking trough the gateway
"What's the matter?" Aether asked
"Well, I just thought we would do more than this here" Leah sounded displeased
"Aren't you curious about meeting your parents-in-law?" Aether found a new way to have fun
"Ugh... You make it sound like you've already accepted me..." Leah groaned
"Never let them know your next move"
Aether smirked
"Well, jokes aside this is my home" Aether pointed his finger at his house
"Will you come in or keep me waiting?" Aether walked up and opened the door
"Yes yes..."
"Mother! Father! Abigail! Luke! I'm home!" Aether shouted loudly
"Well well, isn't this my beloved son?" Jane the mother walked out of the kitchen and seeing the sight before her eyes started tearing up "Charlie! Our good for nothing son has brought a daughter home!"
In the blink of an eye a certain man was on the bottom floor, near the enterance of the house and with a face full of joyful tears "I thought with that demeanor of his"
"What a pair they are" Aether chucled and hugged his parents
"What's with the commotion?" Abigail walked down stairs with a drowsy face "Oh... It's you big bro"
"Yeah, I'm back" Aether smiled warmly
**At the dining table**
"Ehhhh, so you just boldly proposed huh..." Jane spoke to Leah
"Yeah... I guess" Leah blushed
"But still, I didn't think this brat would be so powerful" Charlie exclaimed proudly "You really quit just because you got bored"
"What? You're not mad?" Aether was unusually confused
"You seem pleased and even brought a girl home" Jane laughed "Everything we want is you and your siblings growing up happily"
"Well I guess that's the thing I would want for my children too" Aether chucled
*Leah blushed madly*
"Well there are still some things I would like to do before having children" Aether looked at Leah
*Leah's whole face got red and smoke started rising from her head*
"By the way... How do you feel about me becoming a god?"
"Well, if you could do that I would aprove" Charlie said "But CAN you is the thing"
"I can. You see these eight rings" Aether pointed at his hand "If I took them off, I would be able to ascend"
*All of the people sitting near the table looked at Aether with eyes saying 'you're kidding me right?!'*
But the thing is Aether is probably the most honest person they will ever meet
"Each of these rings seal exacly 12.375% of my power" Aether continued
"So 99% in total..." Abigail did her math "Wait! Don't tell me! You're telling me that you've sealed 99 percent of your power but still are at your previous power level!?"
"Yes." Aether said
Everybody looked at Aether with dead fish eyes
"Are you still human?" Abigail asked with questioning eyes
"You want a honest answer on the one you want?" Aether looked back at her
"..." Abigail kept looking at Aether
"No, I am a demigod now" Aether kept looking at Abigail
"That's not the point, we're traveling out for a long time and I wanted to give this to you while I'm still here" Aether broke the silence
Aether opened his subspace and picked up another emergency ring
"Use this whenever there is any danger higher than a rat to the family, also use it if anyone get's sick" Aether got serious
"It's one of the safest cities in our planets" Jane felt as if her heart got instantly melted
"Better safe then sorry" Aether was unconvinced
"Now that I have done everything I wanted to I will be heading out" Aether smiled at his family again
"Won't you stay a little longer?" Charlie wasn't satisfied yet
"I could but I don't want to be sad later, besides you will be able to contact me anytime you want" Aether shook his head and stood up
**Outside the house**
"We've finished everything" Aether said "Where do you want to go?"
"Now that you're saying it I don't even know" Leah started thinking hard "Why not just start walking outside the gate of the city towards the city of the elves"
"Yeah, sure, why not..." Aether agreed
**Outside the city gate**
"Do you want to walk or get some sort of way to travel" Aether asked again
"I'm not sure, mabye some horses?"
Aether snapped his fingers and a pair of translucent blue horses materialised
"I wanted real horses" Leah pouted cutely
"Sorry, I can't get real ones right now" Aether jumped and mounted the horse
"Fine..." Leah "Can you at least change the colour?"
"What colour do you want?" Aether asked but before Leah could even respond it poofed and turned into a pink cartoonish unicorn with googly eyes
"Why ask if you won't let me chose" Leah looked at Aether dryly
"Let's go!" Aether shouted as Leah was trying to climb up
"Reasons" Aether looked back
"Waiit!!" Leah got surprised as the unicorn started running on it's own
After a few minutes of strugling Leah was finally riding the horse
"Seriously!? The unicorn is farting rainbow sparkles!?" Leah asked in disbelief
"Yeah, got a problem with that" Aether glared at leah menacingly
"Uuggghhh" Leah's whole being shivered momentarily "You can kill someone with that look if you're not careful"
"What? A rabbit?" Aether snorted
"So you're gonna be mean to me now!" Leah crossed her arms and looked away
**An hour later**
"I'm tired of this, this is way too slow" Aether exclaimed
"And what are you going to do about it?" Leah was now the mean one
Suddenly both of the horses disappeared, a translucent blue phoenix looking bird appeared and a certain girl fell to the ground face flat
"Hop on" Linas patted the bird's wing
"Now seriously, did you have to do that?!" Leah caresed her bruised forehead
"Sorry" Aether said honestly
Aether wrote the word 'heal' in the air and pushed it towards Leah
As the the glowing word seemingly entered Leah's body all of the bruises healed and the pain disappeared
