Chapter 2 - 002

Chapter Two: Bryan

Ugh so much ruckus my mind went while buttoning up my shirt. What was all that noise about? They sound like a herd of horses!

All of this was just stressing me out, this noise and this dumb buttion giving me problems and finely school. Our new school, not knowing how people will react to me, how they will label me.

It's just to much

Way too much, too stressful, too much, too dangerous!

I could already hear my heart, the blood flowing to my ears SPOT PANICKING

"Calm down B, calm down" I reassure myself "Everything will be fine, Jass is with you she'll protect you." All will be fine, All.Will.Be.Fine I singlenty thought. And why would I care what they thought?

Let's just get the day over with. First, be fashible late to breakfast!

***

The day was going normal? Kind of, I went into the kitchen to only find two almost annoyed kids trying to do their best to scowl. Apparently they still didn't learn my routine of waking up almost late.

Then I said hello and a friendly goodbye to Sister and went outside.

As the door opened I felt a shiver down my spine as the fall breeze came at me. It wasn't the usual cold, it was almost inviting like a gentle and pure breeze, instead of rough and freezing.

The woods surrounding the church were still like any other woods in fall. As I semi-jogged to our waiting point. I saw the dirt path way through the south-east over by a pair of red cedar trees.

I remembered all the good memories me and Jass had there, as well as all the bad ones, like that one time we had to run away from a mama elk because I and my seven year-old mind wanted to pet the baby elk.

I chuckled to myself, "That was too scary."

Jass and I had nightmares for weeks.

There were no typical woodland sounds like most people would imagine, there were only the dead undergrowth crunching away. I was already outside of the church's property line Walking on a wider gravel path, called "A Dead Man's Trail" . It wasn't as bad as it sounds.

Sure..there are rumors in 1994, but they just said a bear killed a man on the trail. The bear was killed in 1995 soon after new years.

The huge pine trees along the path sheltered me from the wind. The path was clearing up to a clearing, and soon I could hear the busy road humming along with something else. I started to jog so I could catch up and surprise her. The closer I got the more my plan came to life.

Just what I thought.

She was doing her usel, humming away into nothing just looking blankly into the bright blue sky.

At last! Have a taste of your own medicine

And….

"BOO" I yelled as loud as my lungs could handle.

And I was reward with the chorus of screams, eeps and WTF's

"WHAT.THE.HE-" she growled, not finishing the last words "You!....ugh.." was all she was able to make out, like she was running out of anger itself.

It was so funny I couldn't help not to laugh.

The laughter went away too quickly for my taste, but I guess it had to. After my intense wheezing session, I got a better look at her. She was wearing a white no-sleeve crop top paired with navy blue high waist jeans that complimented her curves, with a black and gray plaid jacket with her platinum cross embedded in diamonds around her neck, that glissend in the morning sun's light.

Her dark locks in a braided ponytail that ended halfway with her natural curls the rest of the way.

"Wow Jass, you look" I said with a hint of awe in my voice.

"Amazing, fine, pretty, beautiful, drop-wrothery the list goes on" she finished for me.

I chuckled while picking a word from her list, and found it.

"Drop-wrothery, definitely" I smiled while spoiling her with complaints.

"Aw" Jass cooed "Thanks B, you look good too" she replied.

"Thank you, dear twin" I sarcasently replied myself "But do I look drop-worthery myself?"

"Almost, but you're on the level of fine" she somewhat whispered.

"Oh what was that? An compelnt!? For me?" I questioned, Jass nevered gave me a complaint before.

"Shudup" she mumbled, with something that I couldn't make out.

"Never mind let's just go" I mumbled back.

-1 hour later-

-In Homeroom-

"Welcome Juniors to this new year at West Mountain High!" Said a scrawny middle aged woman "Us teachers and staff hope we can help you as best we can."

Even though she was well...scrawny but she was nice, she showed us that our seats were at different tables. There were five tables in total, the first four tables had eight chairs while the fifth one only had four. With a reading place in the back.

Jass and I were at different tables but we always found a way to communicate. I figured out the teacher's name was miss. Lane, and she would be our homeroom and first period teacher. She was a nice person, she'd had chestnut brown hair and light brown eyes paired with a light skin tone. Her outfit was..okay the usual teacher got up.

But she was different, first off she assigned homework on the first day of school. And it was almost impossible. 'To make two friends by the end of the day'.

She was in the middle of explaining a slamming on the door.

And that when Jass looked at me with a look on her face that said one thing.

'Prepare yourself B, things 'bout to go haywire'

So I did what you should do, prepare for the worst
