Chapter Four: Bryan
-Outside Room 6 -
To all those main characters, respect to you standing there in front of your enemy. Because it's way harder than it looks.
Thomas knocked on the door, waiting for an answer. Soon I heard an assertive voice, "Come in".
The voice was one of a woman, even though her voice made me shiver, the door swung open with a whoosh. Making me nervous, as I rubbed my arm I felt goosebumps. My gaze went into the room, it wasn't like a questioning room, more like an office. An office with fluffy throw pillows and sofas. At the desk, a bright yellow desk sat a woman.
She was nice looking, looking like she was in her twenties, maybe super early thirties?
She gestured to Thomas to enter the office, there was a blue chair in a corner, he werally walked over to it. After he sat down he looked at her, then glanced at us...and looked back at the woman.
She responded with what looked like a cross over of tightening her lips and a firm nod. Then she relaxed, and looked at us with a kind smile.
I could relax if I could, but there was too much tension in the room. Even with all of the colorful decorations. I know Jass could feel it too, even though she returned with a kind smile of her own I know it was fake. I could always tell, the look in her eyes gave it away, but only to me.
The mysterious woman then gestured for both of us to sit down on a sofa, it was just as yellow as her desk. Jass glazed at me in an almost 'Just do what they say' manner, maybe just maybe she thought something was up to. We both sat down making our way through pillows.
Finely after we sat down I looked at her, she looked kind? Or maybe more content?
She quickly glazed over us, but lingered in our eyes, her stare was cold as ice. Glaring into my soul. I didn't want to break the stare, she might think that i'm suspicious. Even though I don't know how I will be.
I felt Jass's shoulder touch mine, she got closer to me in the last twenty minutes we were here, finely she broke the stare. But only to glance at Thomas, then back at us
Thomas shook his head at her like arguing about something, the woman glared at him then cocked her head at us. Slowly Thomas nodded.
"Fine, about the time we did this anyway." Thomas spoke, his tone coarse and shallow.
Time we did what? What do they mean?
The woman then stood up out of her chair, and made eye contact with the both of us once more. Her eyes were a cold silver, her hair a cool copper color tied in a bun.
She blinked, slowly then said.
"Jasmine Taylor, Bryan Taylor, how would you like to be in the A.O.T.S ?"
