Hilde woke up with excruciating pain in her head. Her sight was a bit blurry and she couldn't see much, 'I am still alive'.
She saw that she was in her house and tried to think of how she got there before she remembered the last thing she heard "You'll meet us again". She closed her eyes as she thought of it. The voice had been so vivid that it was almost as if she thought about it.
"How did I get here in the middle of all this mess?", she whispered.
She managed to stand up and as she walked out of the room she discovered that all the dark designs were gone and her house seemed back to normal.
She was starting to get scared now, "was that all a dream" she thought before running back to her room. She quickly opened her bag and started searching for the glass bead.
She sighed in relief after seeing it and sat on her bed, she still felt confused about everything that happened. It was still in the night and everywhere was quiet. She looked at the glass bead and couldn't find the crack anymore.
It's appearance was the same way as when it was just given to her. She was convinced that someone definitely saved her then. Her body felt okay even after that strike from the scary creatures.
She thought hard for an explanation, "If this person healed her, was it Hyde?". She shook her head to quickly dismiss the idea.
If it was him he would have waited until she woke up to scold her, and he wouldn't have obviously changed her house though he was the one who made it that way in the first place.
She decided to stop thinking about it, if it was destined for her to find him they will definitely meet again. Right now she just wanted to get a deep sleep. As she lay on her bed she continued to think of the attack.
The smoky creatures looked like something out of this world but those white shoes. They were totally real, whoever wore them seemed to be their leader.
The warning she heard too, she shivered while thinking about it. 'Will the glass bead also chase the woman away?' she thought. 'I need to tell Hyde about it, He probably knows something' she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
She woke up the next morning and checked everything again to make sure it wasn't a dream, "So I just need to tell him now. Why do I keep forgetting about collecting his number?" she was thinking before her phone rang.
It was Oliver and she wondered why he was calling this early, she picked it up
{Good morning sis}
He sounded okay maybe nothing was wrong.
{How have you been?}
{Fine.....hum} he went quiet for a while
{Is something wrong?}
{No, I just wanted to tell you something}
{What?}
{.... never mind, I will tell later}
He said and quickly ended the call. Hilde frowned a bit confused.
"This won't work, but it will even be harder to tell it to her face. Should I just text it?" he was talking to himself when someone tapped him. He turned to see a girl who was obviously younger than him.
They were standing in front of the hostel so he thought she probably came there to see someone. "Who are you looking for?" he asked.
She smiled briefly before answering him, "I'm looking for you"
"Me? Are you sure? I don't know you" he said trying to remember where he had seen her before. "Of course, we attend the psychology course. First year" she replied.
"Are you a student here? You look like an highschool kid" he said jokingly but her smile faded immediately. "I'm sorry, I was just flustered" he quickly apologized.
She smiled back at him, "It is ok, my education was a bit fast that is why. And besides you are better than others who just talk behind my back or look down on me. You are honest, I'm a bit relieved".
"So, why do you want to see me?" he asked.
"You weren't around yesterday, we are having a quiz next class which requires us to pair with people. No one wanted to pair with me, you already know why. And since you are the only one left in the class I thought we could work together" she said looking down.
"Sure" Oliver replied. Her eyes lit up immediately before she asked "are you sure? I mean working with me, everyone else thinks that I can't do it?"
Oliver laughed lightly, "why not? You must be a really smart girl to enter college at your age.
Another secret, I'm not very sociable so I don't think anyone would want to work with me. Let us just work with each other, my name is Oliver" he said stretching out his hand for an hand shake. "Kelly" she said accepting his hand
