When I got back home, my mother had been waiting for me. She was notified that I had been skipping school, she left work early to meet me here.
"Why did you not go to school!? When I tell you to go to school, you go to school! When I tell you to do something, you do it!" She continued to confront me and she only got angrier the more she said.
"ok, ok! I will go to school from now on, I won't do it again." Said Jeremiah.
"Oh, I know you won't do it again, because from now on, I will drive you to school every morning and I won't pull off until I watch you enter the building with my own eyes." Says mom.
"Ok." Said Jeremiah wit a condescending tone.
"Humph" the mother stomped away in anger.
Jeremiah went back to his room where he had left that tape under his bed. He didn't want to move or touch the tape since it had been covered in a dangerous looking substance.
"Hmm, it's still here and covered in the green ooze. Maybe I could use something to pick it up and clean it off." Jeremiah thought to himself.
Jeremiah went downstairs to his kitchen to grab a pair of metal tongs.
"This could work if it's not acid but if it is…" Jeremiah thought.
As Jeremiah suspected the tongs did work and the substance was not acid but it is a strange sticky substance and it had not been easy to clean. However, eventually it was washed clean.
"Right I forgot, it's cracked." Jeremiah said.
Jeremiah still put in the tape. "I mean I'm curious about what it is, aren't you?" Jeremiah asks you, breaking the 4th wall.
The screen popped a green flash, the introduction came on the screen and in capital letters it read 'Electric skies and red water'. "Hmm, who comes up with these titles?" Jeremiah thought.
Out of nowhere the games first villain walks on to the screen. "Jeremiah, you must be an idiot! You must be an idiot to face me again!" Said the villain covered in red armor and a red gas mask.
"Why would he say my name? How would he know to say my name? I never put my name into the game yet! He shouldn't be able to do this!" Jeremiah thought to himself.
Jeremiah just sat there and waited for the game to continue. In the midst of all of this, Jeremiah got the bright idea that he and Arnolds collaborated game should also be an interactive story game. You can choose what the character will say and do and make choices that simply alter the outcome of the game and will lead to all different endings, instead of following a simple storyline.
"Jeremiah! You shouldn't have found me. You should have left well enough alone. You just couldn't help yourself." Said the villain while on the screen.
"What? What does that mean?" Asks Jeremiah.
"It's not like I don't know your exact locations, where you've been and what train you take to get to your destinations. You've played me, anyone who plays me will not live a long life, I am programmed to tell you these rules. Since you have already watched my video, I cannot leave this realm but if you shut me off or turn me off, I can leave this world and come to your world. The game creators of my game have made it this way. To give players a chance to not be completely destroyed by me. However I cannot escape if the screen and game are never shut down." The villain unwilling admits.
"This game is trash, who designed and actually went through programming this? Hahaha." Says Jeremiah in ignorance.
"Another thing is that, every day I ask one question. As long as you answer correctly, you can have at least one question answered correctly by me, no matter what it is. If you answer the question wrong I can escape still. I am looking forward to your answer." The villain taunts.
"What if I don't play? I mean you can't actually make me take you seriously." Says Jeremiah.
"1771 Woodman Ave. Shaultan city. You do not have to continue, you do not have to play, but I will be released at some point, you turn this screen off if you want to, I can't stop you." Explains the villain.
"I don't have to turn you off, I can mute you, I can cover my television screen." Says Jeremiah.
"Your old run down television have that ability? Do as you like, but if you don't answer my question within the 24 hours of that same day, I can leave this screen." Explains the villain.
"Man, you just have all the loop holes huh? I should have known the programmers weren't idiots. Wait, how do I know you can even really leave your screen? I mean, you shouldn't even be able to do that." Asks Jeremiah.
As he continued going on and on about how a game shouldn't be able to leave its world, the villain known as comadust walks up to the camera. He puts his hands in front of him and reaches his right hand through the television. From there you can see a human arm intersects between inside a television screen and the real world.
"This doesn't even make any sense, put your arm back in." Says Jeremiah.
"As you can see just now, what is really possible. If you break the rules, I am therefore able to leave this place. I would sacrifice to leave this place. All the things you never knew yourself to do, you will do them here. Stuck here in just one screen, I can't do anything, I can't leave this place. It's just one screen with a sky and a red water pixelated background. There is no sleeping here, there is no eating here, there is no people here. There is nothing here, your only hope is the rules are broken, if someone will ever find you, ever." Explains comadust.
"Ugh fine, what is your first question? so I can answer it and be done with you for the day." Asks Jeremiah impatiently.
"My first question is. What is your worst fear?" Asks comadust.
