"There is a sale today, I will buy all of the material I will need for my time travel device." Jeremiah thinks to himself.
Early in the morning, the family's having breakfast together.
"Good morning. How is everyone?" Asks Jeremiah's father.
In the background Jeremiah's mother is trying to convince Chris there is no one in the television and to stop bringing it up.
Chris got upset and ran to his room, a second later he suddenly decides to go to Jeremiah's room and realizes the door is locked.
"Why is the door locked?" Chris asks Jeremiah.
"I can't let anyone into my room, it's not safe for anyone but only me." Jeremiah explains.
That excuse is not sufficient for Chris and he tries to pick the lock and get in to the room again. Then he informs his parents.
"Mom, Jeremiah's room is locked with his own lock. I need to get in."
"Why do you need to get in? If you would have just stayed out of his room, you wouldn't have went on a wild goose chase and started talking nonsense. Stay out of Jeremiah's room, but if anyone should have a key to his lock it should be me and his father." Said Jeremiah's mother.
"It's strange he has a lock of his own, who told him he could lock his own door with his own lock? We pay the bills here." Said Jeremiah's father.
The two parents confront Jeremiah on this.
"Why did you lock your door?" Asks Jeremiah's mother.
"And you even provided your own lock, why?" Asks Jeremiah's father.
"I am working on a very dangerous project for the competition of invention. I didn't want anyone to enter the room and get hurt, I shouldn't have locked it but I needed to." Says Jeremiah in a convincingly worried tone.
"Ugh! Fine but when we say open it and you don't open it when we say to, we're removing the lock or we're removing the door." Said Jeremiah's mother.
The parents both agreed, he does have dangerous things in his room but he'd always been responsible and safe with it.
Jeremiah heads out to the store, it's a Saturday sale today. Yesterday was the last day to register for the competition of invention.
"I made a list of the materials I will need, if I can get at least over half of the materials, that should give me a head start" Jeremiah says.
Jeremiah finishes buying his materials and his shopping for the day. He's gotten a lot of the materials for his time travel device
"Calling it a time travel device, is also cliche, like saying a 'time machine" Jeremiah thinks to himself.
"Jeremiah, how's your device coming along. You took the opportunity to buy parts also, well so did I." Says Arnold.
"What? Oh it's you. Hahaha, yes my invention is coming along nicely, but I could guess you're completely lost and stuck at a hurdle." Says Jeremiah.
"How? What did I say to make you think that?" Asks Arnold.
"You don't have to, honestly you wouldn't care to approach me unless you were lost, you're trying to spy on me and see where I'm at in my invention because you're confused or something went wrong in your own invention." Says Jeremiah.
"Well maybe so but that doesn't mean I am not further in my progress than you are in yours. You think you're going to win this but I will tell you truthfully you are not going to win." Says Arnold.
"If I have anything to do with it, I am going to win but I'm not just going to win, I'm going to obliterate the competition. I am going to do things people shouldn't be able to do, I am going to do things the government can't do. I am going to do things, that even if you put all the billionaires money together, they couldn't afford to manufacture." Says Jeremiah.
"You are getting better and better by the day, I could swear you could sell me with a speech like that. How inspiring you are." Says Arnold in a sarcastic voice.
"Hmph, yeah yeah, you love competitive talk but that's ALL you do! If you put that same exact energy into actually producing something halfway as important as what you say, you might just be a tiny bit successful." Says Jeremiah.
"Ah ok, no need to hit me where it hurts, we will see when comes the competition.
Also did you want to meet later for the ghost train game? Ive began the writing but the sketches are up to you.." Says Arnold.
"Yeah, we can meet later, I only have today free so we can get a nice percentage of the game done today." Says Jeremiah.
"Cool, I'll see you later." Replied Arnold.
Arnold leaves and Jeremiah also leaves shortly after.
"The train is back to normal? I didn't even know, otherwise I would have taken it over here, but what was wrong with it before?" Jeremiah thinks to himself.
Jeremiah makes it back home and heads to his room.
"Ah so you didn't forget about me?" Comadust says in an obnoxious sarcastic way.
"No I didn't forget about you, the most burdensome burden I have." Says Jeremiah.
"Ah don't be that way, you really can say the most harsh things sometimes." Comadust says deceivingly.
"I didn't mea…" says Jeremiah in confusion.
"Hahahahahha" comadust tauntingly laughs.
"Right I almost forgot how your supposed to be evil." Says Jeremiah in relief.
"You know me best. Wait what? Supposed to be? I am only evil, only just evil." Argues comadust.
"No, You're not, you just make a lot of mistakes and you're just very annoying." Says Jeremiah in an irritated tone of voice.
"Think what you want, I will get out of here and then you can see what I'm really about." Says comadust.
"Ugh! Just give me the question for the day and I'll be off on my way." Says Jeremiah.
"Ok, what is a secret you have to take to the grave?" Asks comadust.
