Chapter 44
My life as I knew it has been in a constant shift. But I never expected it to sway into a very uncanny route. At fifteen years old I had to lead a squad of five teenage girls to survive in our three-year military training. It was mandated by the government due to increasing terrorist attacks in our country.
Our bunch of kids was the tenth batch sent to be subjected to that hell. Coming from different parts of the country, we tended to stick with the people we knew. And no one wanted to be teamed with a bunch of privileged kids who wouldn't have the slightest chance of survival.
The five of us were from prep school. People never really expected the best from us. They thought we were pampered brats who wouldn't survive without our parents. Oh, we proved them wrong in a very gruesome way.
