Chapter 46
Xedjedy was deemed cold and brutal in our military immersion. He was a leader of an intel team. They basically infiltrate a terror group and kill them one by one from the inside. But whenever they got called back to our main base, he'd never forget to leave me a note. He was a big softy and would whine on his letters of times we don't get to see each other.
He confessed to me on one of our obstacle training sessions. He was running alongside me as the two of us were in the lead of our group. We were climbing a tall log wall when the two of us reached the top.
"I love you." he muttered as he straddled the log looking at me. "Fran, I can't live my life without you."
It bewildered me that I almost fell. It was a good thing that he caught my hand. "Don't tease me like that."
He looked at me with all seriousness as we started climbing down. "I am serious. I can't sleep at night thinking of you"
