Chapter 48
We were being pursued. We could hear bullets barely missing us as we threaded the forest. Mushka and Noelle were efficient enough with their job of keeping the charge alive. They were a few meters ahead of me and I could see each of them pulling and helping the soldier out.
Chealsea and Queencie were helping me with their cover. We'd fire our guns countering the enemy. It was a good thing that Chealsea had gotten rid of their sniper earlier. Snipers are a pain in the butt. Especially if they can shoot accurately.
"How far is the meeting place?" I asked them in our communicator. I was firing as I ran towards the tree that was sheltering Queencie. "We need to get rid of these guys as well."
Queencie was looking into our GPS map and monitor. "We are at least five kilometers away from the pick up area." She spoke, pressing our communicator for everyone to see.
