Ashton's P.O.V.
I was in a white room.
I looked at my body, only to see myself as a blue floating thing that I cannot tell. Apparently, I am floating, and it also seems that I can only move my eyes. Well, vision, perhaps. Anyways, I died right? In the building that I was in, yeah.
"Yes, you have." A voice said. I looked to where the voice came from.
A man wearing a very white toga with the face of a middle-aged handsome man appeared in front of me, about 10 meters away. The man had wavy hair with the perfect length, enough to make his looks quite good. He also was wearing white slippers.
"May I ask who you are?" I asked, but my voice was never heard. However, the man answered despite he did not hear what I just said. Perhaps, thought.
"Yes. I am Zghayolnne Half. Oh, I can hear your thoughts properly, so don't question that." The man said.
So his name is Zghayolnne. Huh. What a unique name indeed.
"Mr. Zghayolnne, since you have said that I have died, what will happen to me now?" I asked politely.
"Quite the straightforward person huh? Let's get going already. I'll be straight to the point as well. You'll be transported into another world, where--" Before Mr. Zghayolnne could even finish his words, I talked, preventing him from finishing his speech.
"I'm really sorry to interrupt, but this world, perhaps it would be the world with the Medieval Ages thing and the Magical world? It's quite popular." I asked.
One of my Workmates always shares his manga with anyone, so I already knew that this world will be that of his stories. Plus, it's really popular, like I have said. How predictable indeed. Though, I don't know why I was rude enough to interrupt someone from speaking.
"Yes, yes. That is correct. However, this world isn't like the stereotypical stories. This world doesn't have Game Like systems." He said.
Silence filled the entire room. After a brief moment of silence, I asked a question.
"May I ask what is the purpose of me going into another world? And also, why are you doing this to me? Do I have to repay this debt? Or do I have to do anything in this world? If so, then I'll gladly die." I said, which made Mr. Zghayolnne panic.
"No, no. You don't have to do anything. Rather, I want you to do what you want to do. You know what, I'll give you anything you want. And I'll give you good Abilities as well, both Physically and Magically." Mr. Zhayolnne said as he smiled.
"You want me to do what I want to do? But there's nothing I want to do. I can't really say that I am contented with my life, but I'd say it's fine." I said.
"Are you sure you don't want to do anything you want?" Mr. Zghayolnne said.
The moment I heard those words, something struck my mind and heart. I felt... I don't know, weird? But there's something in me that... never mind.
"I see. Let's get back to what I'll give you. Is there anything in particular that you want? You can be the mightiest Magician or the wealthiest man, just say what you want. I'll grant you anything." Mr. Zghayolnne tempted me.
Albeit everything he had said was great and all, I'm not that greedy and foolish enough. I know. This is the stereotypical line, but no. I can't handle such responsibilities. It would be a living hell if I chose that.
Anyway, what do I want? Hmm. I don't really want anything. What do I want huh? I have never heard those words once in my life. It's weird, but I feel like I am being a person that is of value... Ha. Who am I kidding.
"I see that you are struggling with something that you want. In order for you not to be in that state, I will just randomly give you something. Are you fine with that?" Mr. Zghayolnne said.
"Uhm, I'm not quite agreed about me transmigrating in another world, but if that's what Mr. Zghayolnne says, I would gladly accept. Though it's really hard to accept the fact that I will agree on something that will truly change my whole life." I mumbled. Mr. Zghayolnne chuckled.
"Mr. Zghayolnne, may I ask something?" I asked.
"Of course. What is it about?" Mr. Zghayolnne said.
"The body that I will be transmigrated in, what will it be? If I could wish, I wish it would be something that don't have something related to someone that is powerful or is full of riches and fortune. Who am I to wish though." I asked.
"I could make proper preparations for that, so you don't have to worry about that. Do you still have any questions regarding this topic?" Mr. Zghayolnne asked.
"I don't have any more questions, Mr. Zghayolnne." I said.
"Well, isn't it about time? Let's have you transmigrated already. Goodbye, Ashton. May you live a good life." Mr. Zghayolnne said as he smiled brightly.
My body felt warm, and my vision started to get blurry. The next thing I knew was that I was in a forest.
