Prolouge: Demise

Ashton Dewise's P.O.V.

Living a life with no fun, how cruel can it be?

I'd say it's fine.

I am Ashton Dewise, 16 years old.

After graduating with the highest rank at College with the Course of Cell and Molecular Biology at the age of 14, I found a fine job. This job gave me enough money to pay rent and buy food and clothing. I'm currently the age of sixteen, yet I never wanted to find love, nor have I kissed anyone except my parents.

Though more than ten girls have confessed, I ended up not having a relationship with them, since I wanted to be alone and have more money rather than having love. I can honestly say that romance is nothing but trouble.

I mostly, perhaps, only spend my time eating, exercising, reading, working, and sleeping. Internet? No no. I don't even own any gadgets. I also have got no friends, even when I was young. My parents are like a hundred countries away, and I rarely get in touch with them. Now, you must get where I am going, right? Let's get back to the present.

As of now, our company is getting robbed. Not that I care about my life though. Every single people is cowering in fear of the robbers, as the thieves have planted a bomb below our building. Well, I can't really blame them for being scared. If I treasure my life, I would be scared as well.

As the robbers took the money from the cashier, they smiled as if they were plotting something. Well, of course, they are plotting something. They carried a big black bag filled with money and then ran outside.

A few seconds later, and all of the people sighed in relief. However, as expected, everything was not done. When the people have let their guard down, an explosion was heard. The people's smiles quickly turned into shock, and that shock turned into fear.

The whole building collapsed and went down. People's faces were so horrible, their true selves are coming out now that they are in front of death. A lot of them screamed, some ran, and some tried to save themselves. However, every single thing they did was futile.

The next thing I knew was that I was in a white room.
