Keeping a low profile was difficult so the three people had to be on the move every now and then. They had to look back once in a while to ensure that nobody was following them. Gia's face had now been published in major billboards as a wanted person, this meant that the routes they followed while escaping had to be minor to avoid anyone recognizing them. It would be easier if Ronnie had not followed them. Sean was being looked for high and low with the Red Dove and considering the fact that the tracker was already destroyed, the group may have doubled man power to aid the search.
The matter concerning the tracker was really puzzling. If it was really Sean's uncle who had given out the bracelet, it was either he was the one who put the tracker on or someone else did. Looking at Sean, he looked like someone from an extremely wealthy family. Asking for help from them was out of out of question. Right now even a family member could not be trusted. Sean did not disclose more only that the parents had died and his uncle was the one taking care of their family. Nothing about him had seen the light yet.
They headed south and rented a very filthy motel. It looked like the ground floor was something like a brothel. The music was blearing and petite women stood outside wearing loose and short cloths, disclosing very little skin. When they saw Sean, each of them clamored near him. There perfumes were especially strong that even Gia and Ronnie who stood quite a distance away sneezed a couple of times. Sean looked their way, obviously begging for help but the two just looked at the spectacle with rare amusement dancing in there eyes.
It was not his fault but Sean really was handsome. His injuries had not healed yet and during the run, he had bought a few change of clothes. The black shirt he wore brought the whole focus to his face. Clean and smooth, a little subtle was growing giving him a boyish charm. The women seemed to touch him even more with every resistance he made. Gia felt a little uneasy when she saw their deep red manicured hands nearing dangerously to where Sean's injuries were. She could not hold it anymore and ran there, taking Sean's hand in hers.
"Babe, what is taking you so long to get us a room." Gia said in a coquettish voice that made both Ronnie and Sean's hair stand. She looked at the women once and they all went running away. It was quite scary. Once they had left, Gia naturally left Sean's hands and entered the Motel as if nothing had happened leaving the two bewildered men outside. They recovered their wits slowly and followed after her.
For some weird reason, Ronnie's eyes followed Gia everywhere she went. They had booked two rooms, one for the lady and the other for the men. Right now they were both inside Gia's room and Ronnie's gaze seemed to be burning holes through her body that she felt uncomfortable all over. After several minutes of letting it slide, Gia could not hold it in anymore and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?" Ronnie was in a little daze and when he had really been caught staring red handed, his flushed a deep red.
His answer came out in small bits, voice slightly crushing at the end. Gia felt he really looked adorable like this so the need for mischief rose inside of her that she could not keep it in anymore and shouted, "Why have I never noticed you look this adorable" Ronnie flushed even harder till he was unable to breathe properly. After a few rounds of joking around, the trio retired to sleep.
The mornings in the south were slightly chilly. There was only one blanket in Sean and Ronnie's room. Both fought so hard to get the bigger share since the blanket was small and could not cover the feet. They were fighting so hard and due to the non existent sound proof in the motel, Gia who was on the other side had to make wat over here to see for herself what was going on. The scene that greeted her was beyond expectations. Sean was butt down on the floor while Ronnie was on top of the bed, covering himself tightly like a raccoon. A little bit of his face was shown.
He looked like a child, his face was slightly flushed. Gia who wanted to call him out for being selfish swallowed back the words that were at the tip of her tongue. She propped Sean up and asked him to follow outside. Sean protested profusely but still went outside, mouth spewing silent curses.
Ronnie woke up a little late, confusion was written all over his face when he saw that Sean was not in the room. He felt a little panicky as he rushed outside towards Gia's room but just then the room opened and the missing Sean and Gia entered carrying bags of food inside. The three had yet to have a proper meal ever since they started running so Gia hauled Sean outside to look for a store which sold food.
The three sat down, an unknown relief washed over Ronnie's face as he studied the two silently. They wolfed down the food in a matter of minutes. Afterwards, they sat down for serious business. Ronnie had looked up and found out that the previous CEO of the Red Dove had organized a gala and many dignitaries would be attending. Gia pondered for a while. If they wanted answers they had to be at that gala. The other two looked skeptical with slight unwillingness after she voiced that opinion. The reason was that Gia was already a wanted person so movement would be difficult without being noticed. The other reason was venue was the venue of the gala, it was in Seoul, South Korea.
Gia looked at them and said confidently, "Don't worry, I have a way"
