The Level Club was located in the middle of Seoul. It was quite popular and frequented by the celebrities. Because of its strategic location, the business was doing quite well. On a Saturday night, it was quite normal to find it full to the brim and this was one of those Saturdays.
The atmosphere inside was very lively and the dance floor was already full of people. There was a rumor going around that a special guest had arrived at the club. Ronnie had previously looked into Director Han's schedule and found out that he was the special guest people were mentioning.
Most of the people today were women. They had dolled up and wore quite the clothes. Han was a director so it was easy for him to bestow a role to an actor or actress. Ronnie easily guessed the purpose of their flowery personality.
The smell of perfume mixed with sweat and alcohol was enough to make one throw up but most of the people were already drunk anyway so the effect was minimal. The club was divided into stories and the upper part had VIP rooms which had memberships.
Inside one of the rooms, a man was seated in one of the expensive leather chairs. He had a brood of girls frolicking both his sides. He seemed to be enjoying himself too much because of the huge smile that was plastered on his face. He would occasionally let out a little laughter whenever one of the women rubbed his arms seductively.
When Ronnie had given Gia the information on Director Han, she was surprised with how open his cheating scandals. He had also dated many top tier stars. Reading it on tabloids was one thing and seeing for yourself was another, but was seeing this a little too shocking?
Gia surveyed the room. She had earlier sneaked inside after stealing a bodyguard's key. She was wearing a little black dress which both Sean and Ronnie had disapproved of a while back. The way they had said no was instinctual because after seeing her in the red dress, their minds automatically had one thought; Gia should not be seen outside in a dress skirt.
The situation right now was rather special. They had racked their brains on the way to steal the invitation from director Han but no idea they thought of ensured their safety so they had to go with their last option, seduction.
It was not a guarantee that Han would fall into the different webs they had set in place for him but with his half-drunk state, things would be slightly easier.
Gia chose a spot and sat down with one leg over the other. She held a wineglass with one hand, swirling the wine inside lightly while the other played with the strands of her hair. With the position of the legs, her skirt rode up a little exposing the thighs. The lights in the room were a little dim making her look even more exquisite.
Director Han was in the middle of enjoying himself. The ladies were now competing amongst themselves on who he would pick for the night. The competition was a bit intense but even before they could reac far, the hand they were holding suddenly pushed them away. They watched in shock as the director trotted to the other side of the room in wobbly footsteps.
Gia was pretending to mind her own business but the truth was she was eying the director's business. Like a hawk with its eye on a prey, she watched carefully his actions from when he stood up, even when the cushion besides her dipped a little; she still pretended not to acknowledge it.
Director Han was now staring at her with a star struck gaze. It was almost burning through her skull. She turned her head a little to stare at him, flashing a small smile towards him. The director felt as if he was pricked by a pin of sugar, making him giddy all over. Gia stared at his face more, this director was not old at all, he looked like he was in his early thirties and he was also handsome.
They had picked him based on the fact that his build was almost similar to that of Sean's but she felt that it was way too similar. He flashed a smile, revealing cute teeth, Gia almost felt guilty for what they were going to do to him later but when she assured herself of the aim of the operation, the guilt went away.
"Hey beauty, do you want to go to my place?" Han said with that foolish smile. Gia almost slapped him, how was this a way to start a conversation with someone? She wanted to open up his head to look if it was only sex that filled that brain of his.
Gia listened to him ramble incoherently for long. She had not noticed before but the English the guy used was very good and slightly. It was more British than American. Nothing about him going to a British school or staying in Britain popped up in the background check Ronnie had done, this reminded her to be wary of every move she would take from now on.
In the end, she actually followed him back to his house. Director Han's apartment was in a high end estate and the inside was decorated lightly and it was very clean. For a man who enjoyed the company more than his own work, the place was a little too clean to accommodate sexual rendezvous. Gia refused to believe that this was where he brought his women back to. As if he had read her mind, he said lightly, "You are the first lady I've brought back here."
He was slightly drunk, Gia wanted to finish things as soon as possible before things went to another direction. She suggested having some wine before they started anything but he refused saying there was something he had to show us first. She waited patiently and was very surprised when the man flashed two invitation cards. He wanted them to go together.
Gia was slightly surprised with the way things were progressing. Giving a total stranger invitation to the most anticipated gala was a little rush in her own opinion but it was still a little helpful because it would lessen the work she had to do here.
The subject of her attention was already showcased before her eyes just like a piece of meat thrown to a hungry lion. She could not afford to waste any more minute. She hurried and when she left the house, the director was already asleep, well passed out from the sleeping pills. Gia had even placed him on the bed and covered him with a quilt in case he felt cold in the three days he was going to be out.
Gia lifted the invitations up stared at them under the yellow street lights. The paper was of good quality and golden in color. The person who had made them had put great importance to the aesthetics. The guilt that she felt before came back, it was very unexplainable so she turned around and stared at the window of the apartment she just left.
Ronnie and Sean arrived just in time to take her away. The two were very happy and Gia could not help but smile a little.
What they did not know was that the man who was supposed to be asleep was now standing by the window, staring at the departing car. Director Han smiled slowly, staring at a photo he was holding. The picture was of a girl about sixteen or seventeen smiling sweetly. He stared at it in daze for a long time before returning it inside his coat pocket.
He had changed the spiked wine and that was which he was holding with his hand right now, he then mouthed softly'
"I really cannot believe we met again."
