Early morning, the sun was slightly up and a little mist filled the air. It had rained yesterday so the drying of the soil in the streets and the blooming flowers brought with it a heavenly scent. Everyone was relaxed, pedestrians going to work crossed the roads in a beautiful manner, it was truly an heavenly day yet for three people inside a house in the district, it was not the same.
No one had slept, Sean tried dozing off but ended up waking eventually. He stared at Ronnie working on a computer. He realized that although Ronnie's mannerisms were abnormally sloppy most of the time, the speed at which his fingers tapped on the keyboard was incredibly fast. He had never seen someone with this immense speed before and to top it off, everything he looked up bore results that surprised them greatly.
This information was private and classified yet he was able to retrieve it with ease, it was not hard to guess that he was a computer maniac, and a very good hacker at that. The three people sat in a small unconsciously formed circle with grave hearts. They had found out much about the Red Dove but surprisingly, nothing came out when they tried to look up Sean's involvement. It was like they were dealing with an unknown enemy, for what reason was she even protecting the man for.
A little bit into the morning Gia decided to go back to her house. There were important things she had left that would help them with safety. Ronnie was a computer magician but was pretty bad at fighting for himself. Now that she had involved him in this mess, it was just right to keep him safe and sound. Sean on the other hand was hard to read. Forgetting his injuries, his physique was quite good and he looked like someone who had professional training before.
Once she reached the apartment, a shocking scene greeted her. Police cars were littered all over. An ambulance stood in a distance. Three people were rushed out. Looking keenly, it was the three who had ambushed them yesterday. It looked like someone had alerted the police after they left. This would bring more problem because they would be now in the police radar.
Getting in with this many people watching would be a problem. The hood she was wearing proved useful incase someone saw her and alerted the police. By all means possible, the police would fabricate everything and make her look like the bad person.
She stealthily walked inside the building before anyone noticed her presence. Her house was littered with blood drops and bullet holes. It was quite the scene. The police had yet to put a 'crime scene do not cross' sign. This was good as it enabled her to move in and get whatever she needed.
She collected some guns from the armory, a few pieces of clothes, some jewelry and a duffel bag. The motion was swift as a police officer would enter any moment from now. After finishing she was prepared to jump out before footsteps made her freeze in her tracks. They were footsteps of several people so she had to hide.
The visitors talked in hushed voices so it was hard to pick on their conversations. Peeping from where she was hiding, Gia noticed that these people were dressed in black suits and ties, they were obviously not police officers. They searched all around the house, obviously looking for something. Everything was turned upside down before they determined that whatever they were looking for was not there.
This was her apartment, what was it that these people were looking for, it puzzled her so much that she wanted to ask, before her impulse took over, one man turned and that was when she saw the Red Dove at the base of the coat. In a moment she understood. This people were here to finish some business but because no one was here, they could not find what the previous three men were sent to find.
How would they know where Sean was? and what was it that Sean had that made this people follow him as so. Everything was puzzling. This people were obviously linked to some underground group to have men follow them each time. Her thoughts were broken when he heard the man say, "West Street, Holy Seed" The name sounded familiar, this was because, it was Ronnie's apartment!
This people had a tracker on Sean, this was how they were able to find him easily each time. Sean was injured and Ronnie was extremely useless when under attack. Gia had to rush back before the men reached. With the ammunition and connections they had, it was possible they would call people nearer to get there. This would be a big problem.
Gia sped towards Holy Seed using a stolen car. The speed was so high that the car seemed to be flying. Holy Seed was located in one of the posh villages of West Street. Ronnie's family was very rich but he preferred staying alone. Worried about his sons comfort, his father bought him an extremely pricy apartment.
Getting to West Street was easy as there was no traffic. Reaching Holy Seed, Gia noticed two black cars aproaching from the distance. She hurried up using the elevator. Sean and Ronnie sat on the big couch in the living room obviously unaware of the incoming danger. It looked like Ronnie's animosity was only visible when Gia was around so he was well behaved this time round.
A loud bang from the door startled the two. Gia entered extremely sweaty. She rushed to the window to look outside. As expected, the two black cars had already parked silently across the street and men poured out of them coming their way. Just then, the TV beeped with breaking news. Gia's face covered half the screen, she was wanted.
Ronnie and Sean were perplexed and even more when Gia shouted, "We have to go...NOW!" Her face was dark. The three had no choice but to follow orders, even they understood easily, they were under attack.
They sneaked outside, hid in the corridors and watched as the men rummaged inside the apartment with force. They had to run now or else they would get caught.
Ronnie's was frightened so much that it looked like he would pee on his pants. Using the stolen vehicle, they rushed away. Once at a safe distance, Gia looked at Sean, the clothes he had on were still the same one's from the first time they met. He had no jewelry on but a simple bracelet. Gia forcefully took it off. looking inside, a red shimmering light caught their attention, it was a tracker.
Gia, "Where did you buy this bracelet?"
Sean, "My uncle gave it to me last year" The answer astonished the three of them. Your uncle huh!
Gia sighed loudly, "It is a little bit sunny today, I thought it would be a good day."
