''Do we really need so many stuffs to meet your little sister? I feel like we are not buying things for just one person.'' Lyle said holding a couple of large bags of food on each hand.
''You'll know once we reach there. Now let's go.''
The two of them hailed a cab and Ivy gave the direction.
''Sunshine.''
''Alright.'' The driver was a middle aged man whose face had some traces of aging. Hearing the destination, he looked at the two of them more closely.
''Are you going to meet the kids?'' The driver asked with a smile.
''Yes uncle.'' Ivy responded with an equally bright smile.
''Oh... That's so nice of you. You both are so young yet so kind. It's true that age doesn't matter with one's personality. Keep up the good work.'' The driver was clearly very impressed and his smile also brightened by a few levels.
''We are not that nice uncle. It's just that we had some time today so...''
''Aiyoo... Its still nice of you to visit when you have time. Afterall, I know school is really hectic so it's great as long as you visit them.''
The two of them continued to converse while Lyke, who was sitting by the side quitely could already guess the place.
The cap stopped by a large gate which had the words 'Sunshine Orphanage' written in bold. There were large walls covering the entire orphanage.
''Uncle your fare.'' Lyle said as he handed the money after stepping out of the cap.
''No need no need. I can't do such good deeds myself so I'll just think of this as contributing a little.''
''But-" Lyle wanted to continue but was stopped by Ivy. ''Thank you uncle.''
After the cab speeded off, Ivy turned to Lyle and explained, ''The uncle was quite a nice man. As soon as he heard the destination coupled with the things we brought, he had already deduced about not wanting to take the money. While talking with him, I also felt that he wanted to do stuffs like this but was unable to because of his circumstances. Afterall he has a family to feed so he can't think about others. But the heart inside wanted to, so for him, the least he could do was give us a free ride. That way, the feeling of having done a good deed was prominent and joyful for him.''
Finally understanding the reason, Lyle gave Ivy a sheepish smile and the two walked into the orphanage.
''Sister Ivy!''
