The sky had already turned dark by the time the two families who are soon going to be one, completed their dinner.
The Wilsons and Ivy were to immediately leave right from the restaurant as the children still had to school tomorrow while the adults had work.
''Ivy, take care. Don't get yourself hurt.'' Mrs Gracia said as she hugged her daughter tightly while pecking on her forehead.
''No need to study so much. Just enjoy and do what you like.'' Mr Gracia said as he too hugged his daughter while pecking her forehead.
''Dad...'' Ivy whisper yelled as she looked at her dad with resistance.
''Shh.... Just keep it. Don't let others know.'' Mr Gracia said as he patted her back lightly. He had put money in her pocket in the pretext of hugging her.
''But I already have more than enough.''
''It's never enough sweetheart. I know that cause I have been there. On top of that, your little stomach is really not easy to fill. So if you need more, just call. Hmm?''
''Hehe... thanks dad. I love you. MUAH.''
''I love you more. Have fun.''
After Mr Gracia finished his turn, Avi stepped up. Since he was taller than her by a head, he patted her head lightly.
''Don't be too naughty. And no need to work more part times. Though it will be quite a hassle, I think I'll earn enough to take care of you. So just have fun. No need to be so into something you aren't good at. It's just a wastage of time and energy.'' Avi said as he shoved his hand in her jacket pocket. Before Ivy could refuse, he said, ''Just take it. It's not like you have never.''
''Heh... who said I didn't want it. Ofcourse I want it. Afterall, someone just said that money is not enough no matter how much we have. Thanks though.''
Seeing her smile and take it without a worry, Avi felt like beating someone. This brat really knows how to spoil the mood.
But that bright smile is still something he loves. So all he could do was just get used to it and hug her.
While Ivy was hugged by her family, Lyle wasn't idle either because after being done with Ivy, Mrs Gracia had turned to Lyle.
''Darling, can you help us take care of Ivy. Though she looks alright but she hides a lot of things in her heart. She still couldn't let go of everything. So can you please help us untie the knot in her heart?''
''I know we are being selfish but we can't help it. Please help us bring Ivy back.'' Mr Gracia also joined in on it.
''You don't have to do much. Since we know about her bet, all you have to do is make her play once. After that... You should know.'' Avi stepped in as well.
''Godmom, goddad, Avi, you don't have to worry. I also want to help her get back to being free.''
