Lyle and Ivy got off near the restaurant they were supposed to meet their families.
''I think it's around here.'' Ivy said as she looked around. ''It's there.'' Ivy tugged Lyle's sleeve as she pointed towards the sign board they were searching for.
But contrary to their plan, a voice stopped them.
''V.''
Hearing her name, Ivy looked back before quickly turning back. She grabbed Lyle's hand and hurried towards the restaurant. Lyle, though confused didn't ask anything and let her pull him as she like.
''Hey.'' A figure stopped right infront of them stopping them from moving forward. He had a fade and tapper haircut with the top brushed up in a nice style. Coupled with that jawline and sharp features, saying that he was good-looking was just being modest.
''Don't want to introduce your new boyfriend to me, your ex?'' There was a slight smile pasted on his face as if that was the most common thing to do. ''Well since you don't want to, I'll just introduce myself. I'm Vincent, her first and the most popular boyfriend.''
Ivy wanted to clear that Lyle wasn't her boyfriend because she felt really awkward dragging him in this. This was her mess and now she was dragging this clean boy into the sewage. He didn't even have a girlfriend till now. How could she taint him!
But Lyle seemed to have thoughts different to hers.
Lyle placed his arms around Ivy's shoulder and pulled her towards himself so that the space between them was literally zero.
''Hi. I'm Lyle, her last boyfriend and the most loved one as well.''
''Heh... Last? I don't think so. Afterall there is sti-"
''Well you don't have to think. I know I'm the last. I'm not an idiot to let her go afterall. Ah... By the way, thank you for being a saint. Afterall, I wouldn't have gotten the chance if you had held on. So, thank you for being so benevolent. Now if you'll excuse us, our families are waiting for us to have dinner.''
Lyle pulled Ivy with him as they walked towards the restaurant leaving behind a stunned 'saint'.
When the two entered the restaurant, Ivy couldn't help but jump up and down as she laughed happily.
''That's so satisfying. That damned Vincent had been bugging me ever since we broke up. I finally have the feeling of getting some face from him. Now I don't need to worry about him. Guess this is enough for him to get out of my way for eternity. Thank you Lyle. You are the best. Too bad you are too pure or I would have tried... Uh what ever. I'm just too happy.'' Ivy even hugged Lyle tightly proving just how happy she was. Only she knows how much that damned Vincent had troubled her. Everytime she went on a date, he would create troubles. That's just how bad he is. She had long planned to get back at him but then things happened so it was no longer necessary.
