When Lyle and Ivy entered the school together, many heads turned in their direction in shock and surprise. Ofcourse there were blessing as well as hatred sent towards them.
''Eh... they are coming together. Though they are together the whole day, everyday, but today is the first time they came to school together.''
''That's right. Does that mean, their relation has improved?''
''Is it more than friendship or in a relationship? I really want to know their status. I have been their fan since day one.''
''Me too. I'm also their couple fan.''
''Heh.. what couple? Do you think she deserves my Lyle? Look at where she is and look at where he is. The difference between them is like a swan and an ugly duckling. Blah... she is just tainting my Lyle.''
''Exactly. Just look at them. One is so handsome and the other, uff. One is always at the top no matter what he does and the other, no matter how hard she tries, she is at the bottom. One has the look of a Greek God while the other looks like a cup of milk sprinkled with tea bag contents. They are not just a little different, they are too different. Like the two poles.''
''But opposites do attract.''
''Heh... that's objective. This is subjective, where feelings matter.''
''Enough everyone. Don't trash talk about my friend. Ivy, don't listen to them. We know you and we fully trust you.'' Claire said as she hugged Ivy from one side while the other side was hugged by Sam.
''Hey... I also want a hug.'' Jake said as he hugged Ivy squarely. But before she could hug him back, a hand peeled him off like a banana peel.
''Out of the way.'' Lyle's voice was a little cold as he pulled Ivy towards him.
Before she could figure out what was happening, he had already started dragging her towards class.
''Hey calm down will you. How can you just drag me.'' Ivy tried to reason but was instead bumped into a hard chest because a certain someone had abruptly stooped dead in his track.
''Oww...''
''You nearly hugged him.''
''What?'' Ivy was thoroughly confused about where this conversation was headed. But Lyle, damn he looked feisty.
''You nearly hugged Jack. How can you hug just anyone?''
''Hey... chill out. That's was just a friendly hug. Don't tell me you never hugged the opposite gender.'' Seeing Lyle stand silently without even trying to refute, Ivy couldn't help but feel shocked.
''You really didn't hug any girl?''
''I did hug my mom and godmom.'' Lyle's voice was low. He never though that this was an issue until now. Until he saw that look of disbelief on Ivy's face.
''Anyone of your own age group?''
''Our own age group? Yes. I did hug...''
