Like a metal bar hit my head. That is how painful it was when my ungrateful butler hit me in my nape.
After what I did for him, he just shot his hand to me in an instant and didn't even think of talking to me first.
Well, I know that I'm partially at fault too after helping his sister, but doesn't he have any thought of consideration? I'm basically just a victim of her manipulative demon fairy sister. If she hadn't seduced me then I wouldn't even think of going in their way.
Now I know, thanks to that dream, I finally opened my eyes that all of them are just sickos who wouldn't even bat an eye to kill me.
My eyelids flutter as I wake up after the nightmare I experienced. There's this dream where I the prince save the foxy princess who exploited my admiration towards her to save herself from the monster, beast, brutes, people who have no right way of thinking whom I thought my friends.
Well, I'm glad that it's over and everything is back to normal.
I pulled the door and exit the room to eat breakfast. Except that it's still 10:30 pm.
[Flash Report]
I turn myself to the TV, where a news is featured.
[A giant crater was all that remains after a giant EXPLOSION break in the residential area in Barangay Uno here in Tacloban City. The houses built in there had been all blown up, killing all of the people whose living in the area.]
Everything was supposed to go back to normal once you woke up. Except for the craziness I experienced, wasn't a dream.
"It's all Anzai's fault."
"Sure is."
"Definitely."
Some uninvited people are using my table without my consent. Casually placing the blame on me.
I run back to my room and took the displayed sword. I pointed the tip of the sword to them.
"You sure look down on me a lot," I said
I glared at each one of them but their backs are still turned.
My eyes widened after someone I least expected to sit much more to eat with the enemies.
"Luna?" I said.
She just looked at me for a second then goes back to eating. It's like she's telling me that the food is much more important than the guy who tried to help her.
"You pig! How low can you be?! They just bribe you food to surrender! Your embodiment of gluttony."
Her cheeks flushed, she quickly chew the food, drank water, and slam the glass to the table.
"You know that I'm hungry right?! How dare you call me that?! Take it back!"
She cried. I just glared at her.
"Anzai come and eat with us to regain your strength. Your gonna need that after you got seizure earlier." Finn said.
Picking a fight punk? Not satisfied with how you smacked me earlier?
I put my sword down.
Unlike earlier, the atmosphere is actually pretty relaxed. Though I still have some concerns about them being here especially this sibling. And why is Ms. Hera looking at me with her eyes glossing?
By the way, I didn't notice it earlier because of the dark but she looks so pretty in that dress. Also, why did she tie her hair?
I'm being flooded with warmth.
Calm down Anzai, don't make the same mistake twice.
I roughly shook my head.
More importantly, I felt wary of this guy.
I took whatever I can get my hands to and throw it to Siege.
"Aw! What the hell is that for?!"
She raged.
"Your not a zombie are you?"
"Do I look like I'm rotten?"
This guy just took the same blast like the one that killed those people in the news. Yet he's here, except for bruises in his hand he doesn't seem to take any severe wounds and injury. He's even wearing the same clothes as he was earlier.
I took a seat beside Luna.
She's chewing the Paklay, with a smile on her face and closed eyes.
There are only a few scoops left and when I took one, Luna keeps on looking at the bowl, probably wondering if there will still be left for her.
"It seems like Luna likes the food."
Ms. Hera said.
"Yeah, this is delicious what food is this?"
"This is Paklay. Yummy right?" Finn answered.
Luna nodded her head in response.
"That's pig's innards though."
After hearing what I said Luna paused for a moment, look at me and ask.
"Really?"
I nodded to her
Luna's eyes sparkled as her tears stocked up in her eyelids.
"What do you think you're feeding me Finn?! It's innards! The only creatures that eat this were tiyanak and aswang! Even humans don't eat this!" Luna cried.
Tiyanak and Aswang? From the myths?
"You don't like it?" Finn asks in a teasing manner.
"I- It doesn't matter! If mother finds out were behaving in such displeasing manner! She will definitely punish us!" She cried out.
"But mother can't see us right. Besides you worried about being punished? If mother finds out that you came here. Prepare yourself for ten years counting every grain of beach sand. If you are lucky maybe a mountain of sugar will be enough." Finn said with a mischievous smirk.
Luna's eyes died after hearing what her brother said.
Seriously?! that punishment was way too cruel. I doubt that someone could finish it for ten years.
Was her mother really gonna do that?
"Luna, what are you doing?" I asked.
Luna was about to get the bowl where the paklay was placed for herself. But I grabbed it before she could pull it to her.
"Anzai, let go. Finn's right, it doesn't matter what excuse I came up with. Mother will definitely do that if she found out. If I'm gonna be punished anyway, I might as well enjoy this." She said that.
With an expressionless face, she put all of her strength into pulling the bowl.
"I get your point! But I haven't gotten any of this yet!"
I took my spoon and scoop some of the food then let go of the bowl.
I'm surprised that it didn't spill after the force she put in pulling it.
Luna scoop all the remaining paklay and started drooling.
I opened my mouth for the first bite. This dish isn't my favoritism but it is special because you can only taste it during a fiesta. But no matter how I missed the food I can barely move my jaw.
But this girl treats it as nothing. As if she just poured a hot water in a colony of ants and thought like it's the right thing to do so it won't bite anyone.
She's not human, and fairy tales may have been mistaken on how they view fairies. But if that's the case what kind of personality they possess.
Are all of the creatures that fight for what they believe? Or cold-blooded animals like the one who took my parent's life.
How can I find an answer to that? No matter how many modern guns or bombs I possessed I will still be outmatched by them.
"Anzai," Finn called out.
I spaced out as my mind fill up with thoughts.
"Luna might steal your food if you won't eat it quick." he continued.
Luna who just finished pouting after she heard of her brother's rude comment.
I sighed. Well if they are planning something much worse. I still have the option of going up to the mountain.
I took all the paklay first so Luna won't be able to steal it anymore.
"Anzai, you like books right?" Finn asked. "How about I tell you a story about what really happened seven years ago?"
It almost feels like every limb of my body stopped moving. Not just mine but even Ms. Hera, Anzai, and even Luna who seem to never care about anything froze as they looked at Finn.
